“T-thi-this was a-a-a terr–ible id–ea,” Wendy muttered, her face turning to a deep shade of sickly green. “Now, now child. You remember our mission, don’t you,” Carla added in her usual very serious manner. “If it means going to each world in turn, then that is what we will have to do.”
Carla had been her partner since she was very young. She was what is known as an Exceed, and for unknown reason; Dragon Slayers and Exceeds go hand-in-hand. An Exceed is very similar to a cat except with the ability to stand on two legs and talk. The white furred; Carla currently wore one of her usual ensembles; a scarlet dress with a white frilled shirt under it; tied up with a ribbon; which blew in the wind from the still open bay doors.
Wendy, herself; lay slumped in a corner over one of the many crates that littered the room. She attempted to stand but she slouched again to one side unable to keep upright. Along with the power of being a ‘Dragon Slayer’, came one very dreaded weakness; Motion Sickness.
Wendy was the Dragon Slayer of the Sky; able to cast powerful degrees magic which is able to manipulate air, amongst other abilities such fall under the category of support.
“T-Troia,” Wendy attempted feebly; placing her hands against her throbbing head. Her hands glowed a bright blue for a mere second before fading into nothing. “You know, that won’t work child,” Carla added, shaking her head in annoyance. Troia is a type of magic specifically made for Motion Sickness; unfortunately, it doesn't work if you are suffering from it yourself.
“Come on, Wendy. We should move. Who knows when those ‘things’ will be back,” she said, attempting to help the girl to stand but to no avail. She merely fell once more into a heap on the floor of the ship.
Just then; an alarm loudly sounded and a robotic voice said, “Intruder Alert. Level One.”
Carla turned to Wendy and back towards the door if they didn’t move soon; whatever piloted this ship would come and find them and they would likely not be friendly whilst doing so. The voice began to repeat in a louder voice which seemed to be being broadcast to all the other rooms.
