[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: Axel ♡NOTES: First open thread in a while : D Days usually went on like this. His searches for anyone that had been a part of the Organization turned out to be nothing but futile and fruitless, showing no sort of reward for the labor that he put into the task. He hadn't been ordered to complete it in the slightest, but he felt as though it was his responsibility, even though he honestly.. Didn't owe those people anything. Especially the ones that knew what was going on with him from the beginning; they were aware of Xion's situation, and they refrained from telling him about it - in fact, they encouraged her demise. Or his. Whichever was more beneficial to them.
Just thinking about it put a knot in the boy's stomach, so he attempted to shoo it away from his consciousness. Roxas looked around, squinting slightly to try and peer farther in the distance. He figured that was some sort of castle not too terribly far away, maybe about a half-hour's walk, and he deduced it would probably be best for him to stay as far away from that place as possible. He had heard bad enough things about the Queen of this world - the last thing he wanted to do was get himself involved in the affairs that didn't pertain to him.
He was about to turn and walk the other way when a small figure whirled by him at a speed almost intense enough for create a backlash wind against the blond Nobody. Blinking his azure eyes, he quickly whipped his head around to try and see what it was, finding that it was.. A big rabbit. His eyebrows furrowed in a confused way, listening as the creature mouthed out words having something to do with "being late." He honestly couldn't make it all out, considering the little guy was mumbling and fumbling over his words. He was trying with all of his might to get to the castle (at least that's what Roxas assumed) so he wouldn't be late for.. Whatever it was.
Roxas figured that it was best he stay out of it, but.. What could have been going on at that Castle that was that important?
Ugh. This is a bad idea.
The thirteenth began to slowly turn his body, walking at a quick pace behind the rabbit, though not close enough to make his presence known. He didn't really want to explain his being here, as he didn't have much of an answer to give. Could he just say he was "curious?" Was that an acceptable thing to say after legitimately stalking someone?
Roxas had dealt with repercussions in the past, and this, he figured, wouldn't be too terribly different from that. Thankfully, the rabbit was much too invested in the lateness of his being, so being discovered wasn't much of an issue for the young Nobody. Unfortunately, though, he wasn't paying too much attention to anything else, leaving him vulnerable to any outside force...

[attr="class","bonesbg"] [attr="class","bonestopb"] [attr="class","soul"] [attr="class","boneslyricone"]Even so, we all still met – [attr="class","hole"] [attr="class","boneslyrictwo"]Our charming little angel girl. [attr="class","bonesbody"] It was the most unearthly feeling. She was falling from what felt like an incredible height although, she wasn't gaining any momentum at all. That strange portal had dropped her who-knows-where; another place; she did not recognise at all. What's more; Azusa could have been falling for mere minutes, hours or even days and she wouldn't be able to tell any difference. There was no sense of time here. Just as she thought sprung into her mind, a stream of ornate-looking cuckoo clocks floated by, lazily drifting upwards of their own accord. She was simply drifting herself if she chose too; she could just float back up by imitating swimming motions but she had fallen so far now; it might be better to just keep going; just a little longer – and then quite suddenly, without any warning at all. She fell sharply down, picking up speed until her vision became oddly contorted and blurred. Plonk! Her fall was cushioned by something wonderfully large but also soft and cosy. On further investigation; she realised it was a very large, purple mushroom coated in beige-yellow spots. “Phew, lucky this was here,” she said softly; whilst attempting to pick herself back up. Unfortunately, the middle of the mushroom was very similar to an old mattress; as the middle of it sagged rather sadly – likely caused by her fall itself. It took her a while to clamber away from it and hop down onto the floor of what she assumed must be a forest. Although, there was not too many trees – other than the ones which surrounded the edge of the grove; however there was massive lotus’ leaves which sprouted from the dirt at her feet. “H-Hello,” she shouted loudly. “Anyone there?” This was to no avail though, her voice merely echoed back from between the trees and lotus leaves. “So then, who might you be,” another, slowly and well-enunciated voice echoed back to her. “Speak up, speak up –”Azusa spun around trying to find the owner of the voice but her eyes fell on a bright blue caterpillar; standing tall leaning against a leaf on the lower branches of the nearest tree. It held a hookah in its right hand and took long breaths of it between sentences. “Well, I-I-I…I’m Azusa Nakano,” she stuttered; her voice; a mix of surprise and confusion. She peered up once more at the insect who took a very deep inhale from the hookah and exhaled. “I see,” he said. “A–z–u–s–a.” As he said spoke of the letters, he exhaled and the smoke took the form of the letter in question until her smoky name hovered in mid-air. “How may I help you,” it asked, very slowly, blowing more smoke from its mouth in the form of an arrow which pointed at her name which still was floating aside his head. “I’m not sure. I’m looking for...well – I’m looking for anyone, really,” she said in a most matter of fact voice. “Hmm...anyone, you say?” I appeared to be contemplating the statement deeply before it continued with another smoke ring; “Well, there was one other like you. He passed by a while back, I didn’t pay him much mind though.” “He wasn’t quite as interesting as you. You fell from the sky, very curious,” it said with an odd expression. “May I ask why that was?”Azusa ignored this and spoke over him, “Can you tell me, where this person went?” The Caterpillar looked affronted; being both interrupted and ignored. “Hmmph, well; he went–,” it said taking a large inhale. “That way,” and a large smoke arrow pointed her in the direction of a gap in-between the forest canopy and the thick brush. [attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: Axel ♡NOTES: First open thread in a while : D The was bright in the sky, and there wasn't a cloud at all looming overhead, but there was still something about this world that seemed dreary. Perhaps "dreary" wasn't the right word, but.. Something was just off. Roxas, whenever he came here on missions, found himself to be a little uneasy just being here. Things were so topsy-turvy that there was no way he would be able to predict any outcome of a situation. For all he knew, at any moment he could step on a magical patch of grass that would make him fifteen stories tall, or perhaps make him as small as an ant. Perhaps what was disturbing about Wonderland was the sense of uncertainty that came along latched to the world's back.
The white rabbit that he was trailing behind took a few turns, and the blond Nobody followed him move for move, continuing to listen about how the little creature was late for a "very important date." Come to think of it, that combination of words was achingly familiar, and not in the most pleasant of ways. It was at that moment that the boy stopped, taking a deep breath. Along with a strange scent that shook him from his inner thoughts, he couldn't help but consider why he decided following this rabbit was a good idea. Honestly, he hadn't a clue what he would be getting himself into, and for all he knew, he would have to rely on Axel to come save his ass, which was a common occurrence.
Needless to say, Roxas hated that.
He sniffed a few more times, his eyebrows furrowing in a bit of a confused manner. He had never smelled that scent before, he was certain of it, but he was confused as to how familiar it seemed to him. As though it was implanted in his mind before he had even been brought into existence. Roxas had dealt with memories like that, and those had been proven to be none other than remnants of the memories belonging to Sora; it truly was frustrating. How was he expected to consider himself his own person when there was so much left behind by his other, bigger, better and brighter self?
He was just secondary. And he would never be able to comprehend just how much that fact bothered him.
Azure eyes peered to his right, squinting slightly to attempt to see through some of Wonderland's foliage; he could see an outline of something, or someone, but he couldn't quite tell as this point. Roxas took a few steps forward, though he maintained a cautious manner about him. For all he knew, it could be a soldier suited in.. A suit. Those cards were always hard to deal with whenever the time arose.
After his mind struggled for a few seconds trying to put together the dark shapes it was seeing, it suddenly clicked. That was the face of a girl, shrouded in the darkness of the shadows! He instantly relaxed, a gentle smile coming to his features. Was.. Was she lost? Maybe?
"Hi." He said a little dumbly, obviously not too keen on interaction. He could talk to those he was familiar with quite easily, but when it came to strangers, he still was a little.. Childish. "I'm Roxas." The Nobody continued, bringing one his hands to the back of his head and scratching nervously at his scalp through the blond strands.
"What's your name?"
