Hero or Villain (Open)

Scratch was originally having a hard time believing these people but if Yusuke trusted them he would have to trust them whether he liked it or not. 

"Well Gentleman or not you came to the right place! Yusuke is quite persuasive sometimes, and painful."

Scratch paced on his tiny feet towards the many basic weapons and armor befitting those who don't have much munny but still need basic firepower. 

"I happen to have a sale on Crossbows right now and if you buy another weapon with it you get your choice of an 'Magical Enchantment' for free!"

Yusuke could tell Jak and Daxter broke as was most of the people who were new arrivals so he decided to buy the weapons for them. 

"Okay Scratch my pals are broke but i'll glady pay for a Crossbow for Jak and i'll take that offer of yours and get a small steel dagger for Daxter. That means Jak gets to pick an 'Magical Enchantment' for his Crossbow then right?" 

Scratch was intrigued that Yusuke would even bother buying anything of his let alone for someone else. 

"Alright you got a deal and tell you what i'm willing to forgive this little mishap on my monocle if you do a small favor for me. If you succeed in this i'll give your friends here two full light armor sets for free!" 

Yusuke looked to Jak then back to Scratch. 

"Well i'm game if Jak is. What's your favor this time furball?" 

Scratch got the weapons for the two and the purchase was made all that was left was for Jak to pick his mod for his weapon. 

"You are to come back with 10 Feathers from Wyvern type heartless. Good luck to you three."

Jak eyed Scratch and then Yusuke and nodded "I can see why, I like the way he thinks."

As Jak eyed Scratch, Daxter looked at the small weapons "Alright, weapons!" The ottsel smirked widely as the small dagger was handed to him. "Now we can really do some damage, right Jak?

Jak eyed Scratch and nodded "I'll work with what we can get, right Dax?

Daxter was more distracted on his new shiny weapon though.

Jak looked over the wooden crossbow and eyed it making sure he knew how it worked before he took it with him. As Jak turned back at Scratch, he heard a mod.

"I can choose a mod then right. Wait, there's a parallel between eco and these mods here. Fire, red eco the eco of strength, Ice, white eco, a healing eco, Water blue eco, the eco of speed, and lightning, yellow eco."

Then.. i choose fire..

Daxter nodded and frowned "Why don't ya trust us two, Scratch?"

Jak looked over at Dax "I'm sure it's nothing, Dax. Let's go before the night comes." 

Daxter smirked "Oh yeah, the demolition duo is back, baby."

The fools would walk right into his trap, sure it was actually a Wyvern but one of the strongest out there. 
With Yusuke they might survive but knowing him he'd try to let those two try out their new weapons. 
Kor could not wait to hear of them perish but they would need to leave first. 

"Well 1 Fire modded Crossbow! Here you are sir!" 

Yusuke just barely noticed it but something felt off about Scratch today.

"You feeling alright dude, you are a lot more cheerful than usual. Did you finally find some catnip then?"

Kor was lucky Yusuke was such an idiot or at least around this Scratch person. 

"Y..Yes actually! I found some this morning! Good stuff this Catnip is!" 

Yusuke just face-palmed then walked away. 

"Well don't get too hyped on that stuff Furball. You will need your sleep eventually."

Yusuke nodded to Jak and Daxter.

"Alright folks lets hunt some Wyverns!"

Yusuke said as he walked out of the store and towards the alleyways.
Outside the alleyways would await them a surprise Kor thought to himself as he chuckled somewhat evil like under his breath. 

"Hehe good luck... and don't blame me if you get killed..." Kor would say the last part to himself.

Yusuke overheard it but let it go. The furball must have been too hyped up on the stuff or something.

Jak raised a eyebrow at Scratch but shrugged slightly confused on the fact that Scratch had some sort of catnip but didn't notice anything too off.

Daxter said once they left the shop "Hey, anybody notice how happy Scratch was?"

Jak shook his head "No.. not at all.."

Jak seemed focused on the mission at hand as Daxter kept an eye for the Wyvern.

Daxter blinked and kept walking "Come on Jak, why can't we steal erm.... I mean borrow a car here? It's much easier than walking everywhere."

Jak said "It's strength building, Dax."

Daxter held tight to his new dagger. Jak, I hope we aren't runnin into some huge trouble here... I mean what if that Wyvern is... gulp Bigger than we are?


Jak blinked "Relax Dax, nothing can go wrong"

Jak turned to Yusuke "Yusuke, you know where this Wyvern showed up last?

Daxter sure was antsy tonight but that didn't worry Yusuke much as Jak and himself could take on these things with ease, problem was he had no idea where they were. They must of had it hard if they had to resort to stealing though since there were no cars in this world that wouldn't be an issue. 

"Sorry Daxter but there are no cars in this world. The only transport that is around here is the trains or trolleys if you really need to get somewhere, but both are rather slow moving compared to the cars in both our worlds."

Jak was right about the strength building, it would be a constant thing to help fight the heartless.

"Actually the last I saw any heartless activity at all was during this time of the night when it is the most dark, as for Wyvern types I haven't seen any yet so far."

As they headed out of the alleyways low and behold there was giant Wyvern type heartless perched on a nearby building as if waiting for them. It then summoned many shadow type heartless then prepared to attack. 

"Well this new but nothing we can't handle right guys?"

Yusuke said as he then charged toward the smaller ones and delivered a series of punches to each that almost instantly vaporized them with each hit. The weaker ones were smaller in number but the Phantomtail was still there and waiting for their next move. Yusuke pointed toward the Phantomtail with his forefinger and thumb pointed upward in the shape of a gun. 

"Spirit Gun!" Yusuke shouted as a large blast of energy shot from his fore finger toward the tail of the heartless. Once it connected the Phantomtail vanished and re-appeared behind Yusuke then tried to claw at him with its large talons. 
Yusuke was in trouble but luckily Jak and Daxter were still here.

The Demolution Duo quickly jumped into action as Jak blinked for a second, not waiting to stare at how powerful yusuke's attack really was.

Daxter, with his new dagger was already in the fray with his own kicking action and punching as small heartless tried to pounce on him, he stabbed them with his new dagger. "Hey... I could get used to this really fast..."

Jak eventually moved to the back of Yusuke and was about to comment on Yusuke's strong attack, but he was too occupied with the giant Wyverns. Jak pulled out the "fire" spell card and the crossbow and let the fire attach itself to the crossbow. The fire spell somehow instead of burning the crossbow, attached itself to the arrow and made it a "burning crossbow". Jak, not too used to other weapons quite yet, but saw the oppurtunity as Yusuke got clawed by the creature.

He aimed at the tail of the creature and growled letting go of a flaming arrow "Hope you enjoy being Jakked up, pal."

As the crossbow hit the Wyreen, it turned its attention toward the long eared man. It disappeared and reappeared trying to scratch Jak.

Yusuke smirked as Jak got the attention of the Wyvern, it vanished again and tried for Jak this time. Yusuke just did what came naturally and gave it a big ol' punch to the gut. As it lurched back from the attack Yusuke then jumped on its back and took the creature's head in a strangle hold which not only stopped it but made it crash to the ground. 

The Wyvern wasn't done yet though as it summoned a bolt of lightning straight down upon Yusuke, which to a normal person would either badly hurt or kill them. Good thing Yusuke was different than the rest and took it without much pain and kept the thing in the hold as it tried to shake Yusuke off as it took flight again. 

Yusuke was then finally shaken off but not before grabbing 3 feathers as he hit the floor. 

"Shoot! I didn't have nearly enough time to grab more!" 

Yusuke said as he placed the pink feathers in his pocket. 

"Okay three down seven to go!" 

The Wyvern then tried something different and launched from itself orbs of thunder toward the two as it flew around really fast, but was not paying attention to Daxter as he took out the small ones. The Wyvern was taking damage it seemed but was still on the offensive. 

"Gee Scratch had to make it so easy for us didn't he?" Yusuke said in a sarcastic manner.

Jak looked at Yusuke for a second and then turned back, completely focusing into his light side. He leaned down and seemed like he was praying but when he did, his body turned completely bluish/translucent as he lifted up into the air. Jak's body now had bluish like wings as he looked at Yusuke quietly.

Daxter answered for Light Jak "Yusuke, Jak's Light Jak... "

Light Jak knew what to do at the time and quickly lifted his hands up in the air and clapped. Time suddenly slowed and the Wyvern was moving slower than usual. 

Jak turned back to normal and aimed the crossbow and lit it with the fire magic again as the Wyvern was on its belly thanks to Yusuke. He hopped on the creature, avoiding the lighting and shot back the crossbow's arrow at the Wyvern, making it roar a bit.

Jak looked at Daxter and Yusuke "Guys, you know what to do now."

Daxter nodded and took the chance to take his dagger and slam it inside the creature's stomach.

Light Jak huh? That would normally be freaky looking to most people but to Yusuke it was just surprising, not to mention cool looking for him. Yusuke noticed that time around him and the guys had slowed down temporally, was it due to this new form that Jak had shown to him? "Well whatever at least you didn't turn into a frog or something." Yusuke joked as he took this opportunity to use his speed plus the slowed time to pick the rest of the feathers from the beast before it wore off. "That's 10! Alright now to finish this thing off!" Yusuke said as the effect of the slowed time wore off. 

Yusuke charged up another shot for his Spirit Gun. "Move out of the way Daxter, I don't want you getting hit by this!" Yusuke said as he was still charging his attack.

"Alright here goes! Spirit Gun!" Yusuke said as he fired a huge ball of energy at the heartless. 
Once it hit it would completely vaporize the creature into dust. 

"You alright Daxter? Hopefully you didn't get winged by that. Anyways we have the feathers and that menace is taken care of, I say we head back and get you guys your free armor!" Yusuke said as he started to walk in the direction of black cat alley.
