Adrien Agreste is a pretty typical teen. He has blond hair brushed to the side and often perfectly styled as necessary of the son of the famous Gabriel Agreste. He has bright green eyes and freckles across his nose and cheeks. He typically wears a black tee shirt with stripes across the crest and a light blue button up shirt open over his tee.

As Cat Noir, his hair gets a little wild and definitely more in his face. He has fake cat ears atop his head and a black mask that covers half his face. The lenses of the mask are a cat green and give his eyes the appearance of having pupils like a feline. He wears a leather suit with a large bell at his throat that doesn't ring. His gloves have claws at the end and his cat tail is just a belt that hangs from his waist. For the most part the tail is decoration, but at rare times he can have very minor control over it.

personality

♥ Kind - As both Adrien and Cat Noir, he is very kind. He puts others before himself. As Cat Noir he has even given his life for Ladybug.
♥ Smart - While he shows this a little more as Adrien, he is a very bright boy. He can think through problems fairly well. He's also proven his intelligence by learning two languages fluently, and is working on mastering his sword work on top of his school work and saving Paris.
♥ Team Player - Adrien knows how to be a team player in school projects and how to help his fellow classmates, having stood up for Marinette on a few occasions. As Cat Noir he knows that he needs Ladybug to defeat Hawkmoth and while he thinks that she could handle things on her own just fine, he always makes sure he's there to support her even if he is just being a distraction for the bad guy.


♡ Impulsive - This is seen more as Cat Noir than Adrien, but for as smart as he is, there are times when he doesn't always think things all the way through.
♡ Emotionally Distant - It's to a minor degree but he doesn't always know how to best connect with others. His father is so distant that Adrien often puts his own feelings on the back burner because he doesn't feel important enough. Even with Ladybug, he tried once to tell her his true feelings but never got the chance. His obvious flirting is clearly not winning her affections that he would like.
♡ Unobservant - Adrien needs to pay attention to what's around him a little more. He likes to think that he is rather perceptive, but he has yet to realize that Marinette has a serious crush on him. He also hasn't realized who his partner, Ladybug, really is despite their connection.

Overview
Adrien is a good kid that stands up for his friends and does his best in whatever is put in front of him, including school work. He is unfortunately rather closed off around most, hiding his feelings, or at least downplaying them to a great degree. He does this because his father is never around and in those brief moments of contact, physical or (most often) through electronic device, his father doesn't seem to have any care for his son's feelings. Adrien now thinks that it isn't worth it to really be himself and try for what he wants.

However, his guard does come down a little around those he thinks he can truly call friend, particularly Nino. He is a little more outgoing and will goof around a bit. There are others that he can relax with such as Marinette and Alya. Then you have Cat Noir. This is perhaps a bit truer to who Adrien really is, though also a bit of an exaggeration. The mask gives him the freedom to be as wild as he likes. He will make jokes and terrible puns all day long in costume. He is a shameless flirt though his heart beats only for a certain bug. He is still just as brave, if not more so, and still puts others before himself.

history

Adrien Agreste started off as your typical boy. Not much is known about his mother, but its possible she is not actually in his life anymore. He has his father, Gabriel Agreste, the fashion designer and rather absent parent. There is also Nathalie who has tended to his needs, but he feels he is seen more as a task to be completed than a person to be taken care of. He does appreciate her kindness and her doing what she can to take care of him, but knows there is too much of a barrier between them for him to genuinely see her as much more than an assistant to his father.

Growing up he had various lessons to take over the years to keep him occupied. This was most likely to make him forget that his father wasn't around. It worked until Adrien got older and he developed a mind of his own. Now he sticks to his school work and modeling that his father demands of him and has kept up on his fencing lessons.

On rare occasion, though increasingly more, Adrien finds time for friends and developing relationships with those around him. Nino is considered his best friend and he spends his free time with him. He has found the company of other students in his class to be enjoyable, enough to have given his number to a few of them including Alya, Marinette's best friend.

Some time recently a ring came to him that had attached to it a small sprite, or Miraculous. Plagg is a small cat-like being that helps Adrien transform into Cat Noir. He has become the one person that knows everything about Adrien. On occasion the teen will ask for advice from the Miraculous, though rare due to the little cheese lover being less than helpful more times than not. The help he does count on Plagg for is becoming Cat Noir and fighting Hawkmoth and his akumas. He needs the help of Ladybug and always makes sure that she is able to finish off whatever villain their currently fighting.

He has tried to tell Ladybug of his feelings for her, but was stopped the one time he really tried. For now, he just flirts with her and hope that one day she will realize he genuinely likes her. Maybe he'll even get to find out who she really is.

Abilities

• Fencing - Due to years of lessons, Adrien is quite good with a sword. He hasn't mastered it yet, but he can hold his own.
• Cat Noir - As Cat Noir Adrien gains cat like abilities including increased speed and agility. The suit also helps him take a bit more damage than he would probably be able to take as Adrien alone. His suit also has claws attached to the gloves which are quite useful.
• Cat Gear - With the transformation, Cat Noir's mask has lenses that offer him night vision. He also gets a baton that serve many functions. The baton can duplicate, giving him two hand held weapons. It can extended several stories tall which has only been used to survey a larger area. It is also a method of communication with Ladybug, having allowed him to track her and call her when they are far apart.
• Cataclysm - Cat Noir has one finishing move, Cataclysm. With this he is able to call power to his ring hand and anything that he touches will seemingly rust and fall apart.

Weaknesses

○ Human - Adrien is only human. While he can take a lot as Cat Noir, he is not invincible by any means.
○ Limited Time - The transformation his Miraculous gives him has a time limit. The ring has a small cat paw on it and the pads give him a count down to how much longer he has as Cat Noir. After the last pad goes out, he has about five minutes to get somewhere safe and return to his normal form. If he needs to become Cat Noir again, he needs to feed Plagg, usually cheese(camembert is preferred) in order to recharge the sprite.
○ Using Cataclysm - As his only big move, this drains Plagg's power a great deal. He usually only has a few minutes after using Cataclysm before he reverts to Adrien.
○ His Ring - Adrien's Miraculous, or the conduit for Plagg's power, is the ring he constantly wears. If it is taken or comes off, he loses his ability to become Cat Noir. Hawkmoth is constantly after his ring and Ladybug's earrings in his pursuits of collecting them all.
