[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: Xion ♡NOTES: it's about time these two hugged it out The last time that Roxas had set foot in this building was simply to look for Xion, as he was aware she had fled into the depths of this whitewashed castle. He hated this place. It gave off the worst vibes that he could even begin to imagine, and it affected him so much so that he felt like he would vomit at any moment. And that was just walking in. There were so many rumors about how this castle would cause one to lose their memories; to find is to lose and to lose is to find. Or something Marluxia had said.
But he knew quite well that it was not the castle itself, but instead, Namine. She had been the one that had tampered with everyone, as the Nobodies in the castle had remained unaffected. Even though he really didn't want to go searching in here for anyone, he knew that it was quite possible that some of the members of the Organization had reformed here and were stuck within its walls, not knowing how to find their way out. It was quite the possibility, but.. Well, if they had the sense to remember how to summon their dark corridors, then maybe there wouldn't even be a reason to look in here?
Yeah, that sounded like a great idea. He was just about to turn and leave when he felt something in the pit of his stomach clench up in an unsatisfactory way, as though he was about to do something that would alter things for quite some time. He knew that by leaving, he'd be delaying the inevitable. Axel was off doing his own thing, and this was his responsibility. Roxas sighed.
"Man, this blows." He mumbled to himself before taking a few steps deeper, then a few more, then finally bringing himself to climb the short flight of stairs, and then.. Open the door. To proceed. With no cards, the doors would not display worlds for him to have to travel through, but instead, would lead him to more stairs and pathways, and he knew that if he followed them, he'd be winding along endlessly. Maybe just.. Stick to the main path that continued to lead him up.
"Hey!" Cupping both sides of his mouth with his hands, the boy yelled out in an attempt to get anyone's attention. "Anyone out there? Hello?" [newclass=.tiabox]opacity:0;transition:.6s all linear;[/newclass] [newclass=.tiacon:hover .tiabox]opacity:1[/newclass]

Drifting in darkness.. surrounded by nothingness, emptiness, and complete silence.
It was like being asleep, yet awake at the same time. Pieces of images slowly formed in the darkness around the non-existent Nobody.. Were they from her past? Were they dreams? They couldn't be her future..she didn't have one. Right? More and more thoughts slowly came together, like the fragmented images she saw. She had sacrificed everything to save someone...hadn't she? Why was it so hard to remember?
She had thought that when she left, she wouldn't be alone. Yet here she was, in nothingness, with only bits and pieces of images that should mean something to her..they should. Something inside her whispered that she should know these faces, these people. So why was it so frustratingly hard to put the pieces together? Well...she had plenty of time here, didn't she? Non-existence wasn't bound by any length of time. Besides, even if she did remember, what was the point? They wouldn't remember her...and she had no way to return. Self-sacrifice was called that for a reason. Some of the fragments drifted together, showing a male with spiky red hair and a boy with messy blond hair. Bright green eyes and ocean blue eyes.. There were so many pictures of them.. Had these been her friends? It was possible.. anything was.
It was the echoing sound of a voice, that she at first thought was her mind remembering one of them speaking, that caught her attention. She wondered, though, as she heard it again. Somewhere in her mind, she knew it belonged to the blond boy. He was calling.. for whom? Who would answer? Turning, she felt as though he waited for a reply. But she was lost here, in this darkness. The voice continued to call, the familiarity pulling at her. She struggled through the nothingness, the pieces of memory becoming like stars in the dark as she moved toward a growing light...
And then it was that Xion's eyes opened, the deep ocean blue orbs fixed on the ceiling above where she lay. A gasp pulled air in, and she realized that she was awake. Had it all been a dream, then? Where was she? Disoriented and confused, the young Nobody sat up, looking around to identify where she was. A bed in a white room, with white walls and a white door. Soft clinks of metal brought her attention to the metal adornments that hung on a black cloak. She had been lying on this bed, fully dressed in this cloak. How? And why? What was going on?
The voice came again, and she stood slowly, moving as if in a dream to the door and opening it, calling back.
"Hello? Who's there?"

[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: Xion ♡NOTES: it's about time these two hugged it out He wasn't expecting anyone to respond to him, so when it happened... He felt as though his stomach dropped to the floor and what was supposed to be his heart jump right up through his throat. Of course this was all figurative, however.
Roxas gulped down some of his own saliva nervously, the voice hitting a certain spot inside of his mind that made his entire body ache with some strange familiarity. He could remember Xion and how he had spent so much time with her, but some of the memories were fuzzy - he hadn't a clue what she looked like and couldn't remember what she sounded like... So this could very well be the one he had been looking for. It could be her speaking to him right now.
But that would be wishful thinking.
Whoever it was, he needed to find them and get them out of this hell that was Castle Oblivion. Roxas hated this place with a fiery burning passion. Not only did it bring back awful memories that he couldn' quite recall and gave him an awful headache more times than not, it was also the place that he thought he had lost Axel in. Caslte Oblivion, all around, was just not a joyful place to be in. At least for him, anyway.
The blond continued up the stairs until he suspected where the voice was coming from, narrowing his vision as he veered off to the left, walking down one of the long corridors. His entire form was beginning to shake in nervousness; what if it... What if it was Xion? Would he remember her if he saw her face to face? Would he be able to... To tell? So many things had happened the last few days that they were in the Organization together, and none of them were very good; they were all torn apart, and as much as Roxas wanted to bring them back together again, he wasn't able to do so. He was slammed to the ground and all of his intentions were overlooked, completely disregarded to bring Sora back into the realm of the living. In the end, it probably would hvae been for the best that way, but.. It still stung.
Not too far off, he saw that one of the doors had been opened, and he figured that was where he should go. His walk broke out into a jog, which then turned to a sprint, the metal chains on his cloak clanking and tingling against each other to let anyone know of his arrival. He approached the doorway, stopping dead when he saw the person that had been calling for him.
A short, petite girl with raven hair and brilliant blue eyes that matched his own. She was looking at him in a rather confused way, but the more he stared into her confused gaze...
It all started to flood back to him, the person that was with he and Axel so often. The person that was kind and shared the same dreams that Roxas did. The person that was by his side no matter what and appreciated his company and treasured him. His best friend. That's right... Her face was just as he remembered it. His own blue depths burned with salty tears that built up in the rims of his bottom eyelids, his lips curling up into the biggest of grins. Of course it was infused with a large array of disbelief, but that could be pushed aside for now.
"Xion..?" He had to ask... Just to make sure that this wasn't some sort of sick dream. [newclass=.tiabox]opacity:0;transition:.6s all linear;[/newclass] [newclass=.tiacon:hover .tiabox]opacity:1[/newclass]

Xion....he called me....Xion..The thought rose to the forefront of Xion's rather disoriented mind, and she stared into blue eyes much like her own.. exactly like her own, in fact. Blond messy hair, blue eyes, and the same cloak... He obviously thought he knew her. Was she the 'Xion' he was referring to? "Am I....am I Xion? Are you talking to me?"She knew this kid...she did. Somewhere in her memories, she knew him. But there were pieces missing.. What was his name? They had a connection, she was sure of it now as ever before. She could feel it, even..which was strange because how could they have a connection if she wasn't even certain of his identity? She touched her own cloak, her hair, before taking a cautious step forward to touch his cloak, and his spiky mess of blond hair. "I know you...don't I? Have we..met before?"It was almost too much, wanting to believe she knew him, this boy who stood in front of her, calling her by a name that she knew was right, but yet it still didn't click. Why couldn't she remember?? Her troubled blue eyes found his, and she put a trembling hand on his shoulder, as if half-afraid that he was merely a piece of memory, that he would break into bits of images and vanish. Were those tears...in his eyes? She tilted her head slightly, both curious and concerned. Had she caused this reaction? How was she supposed to feel about this? Comfort him, maybe? Her tentative hand squeezed his shoulder, as if to reassure both of them, her and this boy, that they were indeed real. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~OOC: Tag! Roxas Note: This..isn't a dream, is it?

[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: Xion ♡NOTES: it's about time these two hugged it out If this was a dream, it was to be a cruel one, that was for certain. He had Xion directly in front of him, but.. She didn't seem to quite understand what was happening and what they had gone through together. Roxas could only stare at her whenever she had asked what was going on and if they had so much as met before. As much as it stung, the Nobody couldn't exactly be spiteful towards it. They had been through a lot and had lost so much that they all held so dear; it was only natural that pieces would be missing. Well.. Maybe not "missing." Maybe simply - displaced.
A hand had been placed in his hair, and then to his shoulder where it remained, the girl before him so desperately trying to put the pieces together to remember what they had all gone through; the struggles that she, Roxas an Axel were forced to throw themselves into to attempt to remain together. Of course, things hadn't worked out the way that any of them had wanted it to, but.. None of that mattered anymore, right? Because they could all.. Be together again!
Roxas gulped down some of his own saliva in a bout of nervousness, trying to hide that anxiety was abundant within him - he was praying that Xion would look long enough and remember, that she could have all of it come back in just one little instant. That, again, was a thing called wishful thinking, an aspect of life that Roxas looked into a little too much.
"Yeah! Yeah... You do." He answered calmly, taking in a deep breath to soothe his burning lungs. It seems that he had forgotten to even breathe... "And you're Xion. Number fourteen in the Organization. But not anymore - haha - I... Guess." His words were jumbled and his speech pattern was a little erratic, but that was simply because it was mirroring what he felt inside. Going from being such an empty Nobody to suddenly feeling all of these things was rather overwhelming, but it was what came with the package of being with people that were so heavily cared about. He still lacked a heart, but he was told time and time again that he was a special case. The more that time lingered onward, he was actually beginning to believe it, too.
"I'm Roxas. I... I missed you." [newclass=.tiabox]opacity:0;transition:.6s all linear;[/newclass] [newclass=.tiacon:hover .tiabox]opacity:1[/newclass]

She tilted her head slightly, her blue eyes round, uncertain. Something was missing here.. She wanted so badly to remember, to know this person, to say his name. But it wouldn't come. When he spoke to her, his voice was so very familiar, and she nodded slowly at what he told her; though she was a bit confused by his comments about 'the Organization' and having a number. And even though the boy's voice seemed to stutter and shake a little, it sounded very similar to how she felt inside at the moment.. Confused, uncertain, hopeful, and anxious. Was this real? It had to be. Had to.
He seems so certain.. I wish I could be that sure about things..
She looked into those blue eyes, so much like her own, and wished that she could remember.
"Roxas...you are Roxas? And I am Xion. I guess it must be so.. I just wish.. I could remember. I don't understand; it feels like, like I'm missing pieces, memories. But maybe, if I stay with you long enough, I'll remember it all."
Her hands moved to his back, her arms around him as she slowly hugged Roxas, feeling that somehow this was strangely fitting. Her head rested against his shoulder as she squeezed the hug, closing her eyes. An image flickered in her head, of her and this messy-haired Roxas in a grand ballroom, their hands together on a shining Key. She was thanking him..he was so glad she had done something. What had they done? Was there something wrong with her? Was she supposed to be remembering things? Or were these images just dreams, memories of things she had dreamed about?
Xion opened her eyes, but she kept holding onto Roxas, thinking hard.
"R-Roxas... What do you know about a shining key?"~*~*~*~OOC: Sorry it took so long! Tag: Roxas Notes: Hugs!!

[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: Xion ♡NOTES: it's about time these two hugged it out What a strange and unexpected reunion. For some reason, Roxas had always thought that it would be so much more magical than this was turning out to be, but he couldn't complain for the life of him. He was so thankful to see his friend again that everything else was disappearing, leaving him with nothing but a full-feeling chest and a grand smile upon his face. He as fighting against the burning in his eyes that he was getting so used to, the display of emotion that Nobodies weren't supposed to have. He was told time and time again that he was a special Nobody, one that was so closely linked to his Somebody that he was able to experience things that the rest of them could not.
He had honestly believed that up until recent points where Axel had shown so many signs of being just like the blond. Things had changed so much since the days of the Organization, but that wasn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. The change had, in fact, been for the better in the Key of Destiny's opinion. He had gotten all that he wanted; he could spend every day with his two best friends in the whole wide world, even.. If one of them couldn't remember everything. That was okay! It would come back to her. ...Right?
He froze up in his spot as soon as he felt the smaller of the two wrap her arms around him, hugging him tightly and even going as far as to constrict her grip on him, squeezing him tighter than before. Roxas' expression softened considerably, having missed so much being in this place. His friends were his comfort spot and gave him something to wake up for in the morning - slowly, the boy felt his purpose flowing back in at full-force.
Roxas... What do you know about a shining key?
Ah, right. Previously, back in her original days, Xion had trouble summoning her Keyblade because of their strong connection. Whenever the raven-haired replica let go of him, he took a step back and held out his hand. Xion was a wielder of the keyblade, so seeing the weapon would probably bring back a plethora of memories, some good, some bad - he knew that she had been through so much, unbeknownst to anyone. When he had been joined with Sora, he had seen it all. The memories from everyone had joined in together there, and he could witness just what Xion had truly gone through, as well as some snippets from this Ventus, he was learning about the more he spoke with Vanitas.
From his hand, a white spear of pure light made itself known, and it then quickly formed int othe Keyblade that the Fourteenth had been speaking of. He was praying that this would be enough to bring back something, anything.
"You mean this?" He asked carefully, smiling gently and offering it to her, hoping that she would accept it and remember how to summon it like before. Even if she did start to take energy from him again, that was simply a minor casualty. He would give away every ounce of energy he had if it meant he got to have ice cream atop the clock tower with the two people he cherished more than anything.
It would happen again... Wow. [newclass=.tiabox]opacity:0;transition:.6s all linear;[/newclass] [newclass=.tiacon:hover .tiabox]opacity:1[/newclass]

She slowly let go of him as he replied to her question.. Though she wanted to keep hugging him; it felt safe, familiar, and she was still half-afraid that the minute she let go he would vanish, that all of this would have been just another dream in the darkness, another wishful thought in the existence she didn't have. But he was so wonderfully real; if this was a dream, she would play along, she would stay with this best friend until the dream ended.
He held out his hand, and she watched, stepping back just a bit. That stance was familiar..it tugged at something in the back of her mind, almost like an itch. She knew that position.. And then the light flashed, a beam of pure, bright light that shone and sparkled before solidifying into a shining key.
That key...!
He was holding it out to her..and she moved a step forward, her hand grasping the other side of the Key's handle. Her eyes shone in wonder, and she took a startled breath as she realized they were standing exactly the same way as the memory/dream she had. Her eyes became round, and she looked at Roxas. Roxas... yes, Roxas!
"Roxas...Roxas I remember...this Key. It's a Keyblade...and you..You're the first friend I had..ever."
Xion had seen the light...literally. She stared at Roxas, hope shining in her eyes. Maybe she would remember everything, after all.
"I remember you, Roxas. I remember!"
