Age: 20-23 Gender: Male Race: Human Group: Nobody Fandom: Kingdom Hearts ☆ ☆ ☆ Appearance: The mullet! There is no way around it; Demyx has a mullet and it is here to stay. While it may not be as clear cut and grossly styled as those we are familiar with, it is classified as one. His hair starts off as a medium brown at the roots and fades to a light, almost golden, blonde. His eyes are a little hard to pin down color wise- they range from an icy blue in concept art to a vibrant cyan in-game. There's no denying that they are blue, though. Demyx has pale skin and a youthful appearance when compared to the other members of the Organization. As is standard, he is always wearing the long sleeved, trench style coat of the Organization, along with gray lined knee high boots, black pants, and black gloves. ☆ ☆ ☆ Personality: Demyx is one of the most laid-back members of the Organization, earning his place among the more quirky members of the group. He can often be seen lounging around, playing his Sitar and pawning his work onto Roxas or others who are less than suspecting of his low work ethic. Confrontation is something he avoids at almost any cost, often voicing his distaste for fighting and wishing for more recon missions. When in battle, it isn't uncommon that he cries out or yelps when hit. It goes without saying that missions aren't taken very seriously, even when they involve Sora. Demyx didn't hesitate to read aloud from his note cards about the objective of a mission concerning Sora and "liberating his true disposition." Despite this, he seems to be on at least good terms with a majority of the members; even Xigbar, who is one step below Xemnas in rank. Demyx can be heard calling him "Xiggy" at some points, although this isn't very often. While Axel seems to be caught up in his trio friendship with Roxas and Xion, he does defend Demyx when Roxas speaks lowly of him by stating that recon missions are his specialty. He also seems to be more open-minded, or at least accepting, than some members. When it is revealed that Xion was only a puppet, Demyx comments on how intense it was as he acted kindly toward her during her time in the Organization. Unfortunately he greatly dislikes Larxene and Saix, calling them a witch and X-face respectively. Complaining about bossy co-workers is also something Demyx does, although none are listed off by name. Of course, it wouldn't be too hard to get on his bad list; especially if it involves nagging about going out and being useful, or asking him to stop playing so loud on his instrument.  ✓- Music - The kid can tune his Sitar mid battle, and still drop some sick notes in the face of a Keyblade. ✓- Pretending - Nobodies don't really have hearts, but you wouldn't know it by looking at Demyx. He's fairly good at mimicking actual emotions, efficiently getting others to underestimate him. ✓- Ranged combat - Definitely better at knocking off enemies from a distance, moreso because his instrument is a means of controlling water. ✘- Fire Magic - It's hella odd, but yes; Demyx is weak to fire magic. Who would have thought? ✘- Laziness - If it requires a bit of physical labor and/or fighting, he most likely will protest in having to do it. Sweat is gross, mmkay? ✘- Physical fighting - It goes hand in hand with laziness; the more physical he has to get, the lesser he becomes as an opponent. Weapon: Arpeggio, his Sitar based instrument. Abilities: Demyx rarely relies on brute strength to finish a skirmish. He relies heavily on water, manipulating it his instrument. I need be, he can use it like a hammer and nail his opponent in the face; that is, if he lands the blow. Water Dash - Dashes forward leaving pillars of water behind and ending with a circle of pillars around him. Bubble Blaster - Rapidly shoots bubbles at the enemy. Bubble Drop - Drops bubbles onto the foe. Form Summon - Summons water forms to fight, which consist of watery images of himself and quarter notes. Wall Walk - Walks toward the enemy with a wall of water pillars in front of him.   Water Finish - After yelling, "Come on, keep to the beat!", Demyx will strike the opponent with his Sitar a couple times, sending out pillars, and then ending with a blast of geysers in succession in one, unchanging direction. Pillar Cast - Casts a line of pillars that chases the foe. ☆ ☆ ☆ History: Unlike a majority of Kingdom Hearts characters, Demyx's history is a rather short one. The very first time we see Demyx (or rather, the outline of him) is in Hollow Bastion, when the remaining members of the Organization appear before Sora on a cliff of sorts. The next, we hear him yell "Run, run away!" as he rushes past Sora in Olympus Coliseum. Before his first battle with the Keyblade Wielder, Demyx reads his instructions off note cards and calls Sora Roxas. The following fight wasn't very hard, deceiving the protagonist into thinking the ninth member of the Organization wasn't a very good fighter. Try not to let it fool you though.
