[googlefont="Raleway"] I t was difficult to understand at first, but once Hikari took the time to learn how to fly the Gummi ship, it became easier. Time passed, and she finally managed to get to another world without any harm done. She was careful to land the ship someplace safe, and once she was done, she walked out into what the new world had to offer. The sky was a beautiful orange, the sun starting to set. She looked at the view from outside the station, taking in the sight. If she wanted to, she would sit someplace and simply watch the sun set. During whatever small time she spent in the place - Twilight Town she heard was its name - people would grab a sea salt ice cream as a little treat while they did something like that. At the moment, though, she just stood there, looking at the overhead sea of orange. It was only a matter of time before she started to actually get a treat to have.

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUTSIDE. bIRDS ARE SINGING, FLOWERS ON BLOOMING. ON DAYS LIKE THESE, KIDS LIKE YOU... SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL.
“ Sans had worked himself down to the bone by looking for his friends. It had been a few hours since he woke up here, and between running from those freaky black things, desperately calling out for his friends, and with a new, albeit familiar threat on the horizon, things hadn't been easy for the small skeleton. Only now had he stopped and began to rest and recover.
There was at least one good thing about this- the fact that monsters were finally free to roam the surface. It wasn't the surface he saw before those black things knocked him out, but it still was above ground. They were free from their imprisonment in the underground, and free from the endless time-loops. It was.. a lot to take in. The closest thing they had to a sky were the shining, star-like stones and the dark ceiling in Waterfall. But this was the real sky with a real sun. But it hadn't moved from it's place near the horizon since he got here. Wierd.
But since he hadn't eaten for who knew how long now, the skeleton had managed to get himself some Sea Salt Ice Cream. Well, it wasn't ketchup or some other fast food, but it would suffice. He had managed to fork out just enough money to buy one, but he still got a strange look from the vendor as he ordered. " * what? never seen a skeleton before? " Sans spoke in his usual voice, taking his food and hopping onto a bench, but not before he quickly teleported and snuck a whoopee cushion behind the vendor and teleporting back to his sitting position on the bench. He snicked a little as he heard the cushion go off with it's signature fart sound, and flopped back against the bench. Things had become stressful, but it was nice to take a moment to enjoy his newfound freedom as the orange sky seemed to glow above him.
” notes I was kinda tired when I wrote this, but I hope it suffices. And how does Sans eat with his mouth closed? One of the universe's greatest mysteries.

[OOC: Sorry for the long wait! Things weren't going as I had hoped...]
A second passed. Then two. At that moment, Hikari stood around no more and went to go get ice cream from the market street she saw on her way to the station. She did not arrive in time to see the short skeleton teleport, but she did arrive to hear an embarrassing noise go off, then listened to the vendor's frustration to find out someone had used a whoopee cushion gag on him.
Realizing she was staring, Hikari snapped out of her trance and approached the vendor. "I'll have one sea salt ice cream, thank you." Getting the munny to buy it was not easy, but she pulled through with it and mustered enough to make a purchase. Once she had her treat, she approached the bench Sans was sitting on, stopping once she saw him.
She had seen the Heartless before, but a skeleton...? In plain sight...?
She took a lick of her ice cream then continued approaching. "Hey... You don't mind if I sit here, do you?"

“ The hooded skeleton raised a brow slightly at first when the girl requested to sit near him. This was a first. Most humans so far seemed to distance themselves from the skeleton. Sans was harmless!... To most people, anyway. But he wouldn't go on and be rude now, would he? " Sure, knock yourself out, kid. "
Sans put his arms behind his head for comfort as he stretched out a little, seeming to just take in the sky in general like he had never seen it before- which was true. It was nice to just wind down like old times, heck, everything would be perfect right about now if all of his friends were right by him also, like those few precious moments on the surface above the Underground before all of them disappeared in front of the sunset and the Heartless came. But for now, the lazy skeleton just seemed to wait to see what the next move of the girl he allowed near was.
” notes Short post. But it'll do.
