appearance
Sin is a rather effeminate young man. He stands at 5'8" with blond hair that often hangs in his eyes. His eyes are red, though he will wear colored contacts of various hues, mostly blue or pink for a bit of fun. His style can tend to be rather eye catching overall which is typically intended more often than not. Due to his past, he does try to make himself stand out and draw people in. Every day he draws a 96 on himself somewhere, some times obvious as a game that he plays.
He is a shifter that retains most of his human form, but does gain cat qualities, such as sharper teeth, claws, and ears. He has yet to try to push himself to further his shifting capabilities which would result in a hybrid between human and a leopard.
personality
♥ Cheerful - Sin is usually very upbeat. He likes to make other people smile and tries to make others see the best of what's around them.
♥ Caring - Sin's main goal is to help others. He doesn't believe that he can help in many ways, but there are a few here and there that he knows he could at least take their minds off their problems for a little while.
♥ Willing to please - Sin is nothing but helpful. If someone needs something that he's certain he can help with, then he's all about saying "yes." In fact, it's gotten him in trouble several times.
♡ Dependant - Sin has been taking care of himself for the past couple of years, but he really does need a keeper of some kind. Being by himself is rather detrimental to his health.
♡ Lack of Self Worth - Due to his past, Sin has a very low opinion of himself and there are very few skills that he seems himself having. He will back off the moment he isn't confident in what's going on around him.
♡ Submissive - Sin will say yes to everything. He doesn't know how to say no and he's gotten very hurt because of this.
♡ Weak - Sin isn't a fighter, he doesn't know how to protect himself and doesn't really have a self-preservation button. So on all accounts he is physically, mentally, and emotionally weak.
history
Cynric has not had a happy life. Sure, there were probably moments, but he can't remember them all. In fact, he has tried to block out most of his childhood. He knows that he had a brother, an awful father, and an absent mother. Other than that, his home life is a blank.
Sin ran away after his brother left to find something better for himself as well, becoming a run away at 12 years old. He went to the nearest city to his house and found himself crying on street corners from fear. He was both lucky, and very unlucky that a woman found him on his second day before someone brought him to the police and wind up getting him stuck back home.
The woman seemed nice, caring, like she wanted to help. She brought him home to her husband and they had a few other children, about his age or a little older. From there, things just got worse. His teenage years were spent learning very few skills that only helped him in certain situations and the couple taught him he had very little worth in the world. He was only good for what someone would pay him for, or what he could steal.
The most useful thing that the woman was able to teach him was to control his emerging ability to shift into a cat-like hybrid. Becoming a cat offered him abilities to take more physical stress than most of the others, making him more valuable to the pair that took him in. This ability was inherited from his mother, not that Cynric knows this, but it was rather obvious that his "foster parents" had come across this ability before enough to keep him from hurting others.
At 18, he was sent back out to the streets and on his own with little idea on how to fend for himself properly. Sin learned by trial and error on how to make it by himself just enough that he could survive. For the past few years he's been finding his way with the few skills he has, mostly odd jobs working for whatever money he can get and stealing when desperate.
One day he found the wrong person to work for. With the promise of a great deal for his services, Sin agreed to aid a man with anything. Not that he would have said no anyway, he was particularly desperate at the time and needed whatever he could get. What he didn't realize he would be helping with was a "science experiment." Sin's still not sure what happened but all he knows is that he's stuck in a strange world that looks nothing like home and he has to start his usual games all over again.
Abilities
• Shifting - Sin has the ability to gain sharpened teeth, claws, and cat ears for heightened hearing, as well as other heightened senses. His physical strength increases as well, but he doesn't know his limits. He can physically take more damage without risk of serious injury when he returns to being fully human in form and can heal much quicker than a full human.
• Pick Pocket - Cynric is a rather skilled pick pocket just from years of having to do so. He rarely gets caught anymore but that's not to say he's perfect
• Smooth Talker - Sin has learned how to lie through his teeth nearly seamlessly. He's talked his way out of many situations and into very different ones in the past.
Weaknesses
○ Shifting - While he is a shifter and it gains him much, he has yet to be able to push himself to his full potential. He could be a good deal more powerful if he took the time to try and if he had a competent mentor.
○ Weak - He is physically weak in his human form. While he does maintain his muscle tone, its purely for aesthetics. Even with his increased power as a shifter, he would be quickly put down by experienced fighters.
○ Emotionally Damaged - Due to the lack of proper care through out his life, Sin doesn't believe in much other than what services he can provide for others. He doesn't think much of himself so he won't go out of his way to take himself into consideration before someone else. He's been taught that everyone else comes first and their needs and wants supersede his own.
