Chara sat in a chair inside the station fiddling around as any child did, cleaning her blade as most children didn't. Ah yes, today had been quite the exercise. So many play things. Some were easy to prank and others were fun just to play with. So far her favorite game had been 'Tag' Though it was a real shame that no one had tagged back yet! As much fun as she was having however she did need a break. So she decided to visit the station. Maybe sit around and relax... chat up a few people....
"Young lady, isn't it about time you stopped this game?"
Chara frowned. Oh... right, the officer. It was his own fault he got tied up really. Chara wanted to find the remaining batch of monsters, as well as the human that came after her. Sadly the officer wasn't exactly a willing informant-probably because of her knife. He was REALLY starting to put a damper on her game to. She coudn't strike him down until she had information on Frisk and company... such a bother. Rather than listen to the adult's ramble she simply lessened her grip on the rope in her other hand which in turn allowed the two Rapid Dog Heartless on the end of the rope to get closer to the man, now only a few inches from their mark.
"Your right, this game is boring... so why don't you just tell me where my playmates are so I can leave...?"
"Y..your crazy if you think..."
"Woops"
Chara lessened her grip even further, to the point she was only holding the ropes end. At this point the heartless were so close to the officer he could feel their breath on his face. One could see and feel the terror coming from him.
"Ok ok! They were looking for their other friends, likely they headed into the square! That's where people usually gather I swear!"
Chara smiled on response, finally an answer!
"See? Was that so hard? I''ll be going now"
"Oh thank you thank..."
The look of relief on the man's face no doubt faded away when he saw the rope land in front of his face and Chara walk out the door.
The doors of the station closed hard behind her and Chara began the walk towards her new playmates. She truly hoped the officer didn't do something silly like lying, She might have to do worse next time....
Ether way she was off to the square~

Today had been a stressful one, but Undyne, honestly, was just so happy to be back around familiar faces. It took away a lot of strain of being placed in this new, unfamiliar world. For a few seconds, she found herself actually beginning to long for the calming currents in Waterfall, to be inside of her house with Papyrus and Frisk, just like old times..
But they had gotten what they wanted. They were freed from their prison of the underground and could now go anywhere they pleased! This is what they had fought for! This is what Undyne had worked for year after year, pushing and pushing - human soul after... Human soul...
The aquatic monster sighed, her sharp fangs protruding from her mouth as they always did. Her bare shoulders slumped slightly, yellow eyes fixated upon the ground. This freedom was a sensation that she felt she would be exhilarated by, but she couldnt help but think about all of the lives that she had taken for this - this was their home too, and now they would never be able to have it back. It was a harsh pang of guilt that was inescapable for the time being, but she was at least able to press it to the back of her thoughts for now. Her mission currently was to return to the square in the middle of this Twilight Town and see if any other monsters had formed here.
She felt that, as the Royal Guard, such a task was her duty to all monster that had been alive down in the underground. She would do anything in her power to ensure their safety, even if that meant separating from Papyrus and Frisk yet again in order to find them. When she arrived, however, something stopped her dead in her tracks. A figure approaching her that was a bit too familiar for it to be comfortable. The coloration of the sweater was off, but the similarity was too much to ignore - it was Frisk coming toward her.
"Frisk!" She called out as soon as the child was in ear shot of her words. Undyne peered at the human curiously, trying to figure out why on Earth she would be here. "Why aren't you with Papyrus?" Her tone was almost parental - it came surprisingly naturally out of her mouth. As the young girl approached, the monster's confusion became even worse. The eyes.. They weren't as relaxed and calm as what she was used to. These were bloodshot, looking as though they had such horrible, malevolent intentions.
"Hey... Kiddo..?"

feel your sins crawling down your back. It was Undyne! She remembered Undyne, one of those tough warriors types. The type that was really REALLY hard to cut down, even with a sharpened edge! One of her favorites really. Though she seemed... a bit more aged since she last saw her. Ressurection probably had something to do with that. By the way she called to her she seemed to be mistaking her for a friend. Or to be precise a more recent friend. Frisk The mention of the name itself was given a light sigh in response. Mistaking her for the innocent little walk about. No... Chara coudn't have that. She simply refused to have her games attributed to that innocent, pure hearted thing. She had to make a point, sadly without her blade. She had to play a different game.
It was story time
"Hey Mrs. Undyne..... wanna hear a story?"
Whatever her answer Chara simply began walking around the square as she told her story, tapping her knife along the wall as she did so.
"Once their was a human, so lonely in her world.... her family had gone away, and all she had was herself. This girl in her loneliness climbed a mountain to dissapear"
Chara leaned her head down as she told her tale, briefly she stopped in place-if one were to watch the demonic little girl they could see her etching something with her knife, three figures that no doubt should look familiar to a captain of the royal guard. She then sat down and crossed her legs, continuing her story.
"Instead of disappearing however she fell through a barrier, to a place she had never known. It wasn't long before she was happened upon by the rulers of this world, in their kindness they took the girl in as a second child. They treated her.... like their own daughter"
Chara paused and stood back to her feet, clearly bored with her position she resumed walking and paying her knife along the wall.
"For the first time in a very, very long time the girl's heart felt... calm. The monsters certainly wearn't what she had been told they were. No most were kind, helped and supported her-heck her new step brother was her closest friend!"
The thought of Asreal caused Chara to halt for a minute. Yes... yes friends indeed. If only he could douse that annoying habit of holding back, protecting those people in her world... was meaningless. Shaking her head she returned her excited eyes upon the fish captain, reveling in the story she was weaving for her.
"Unfortunately the day came that the girl became deathly, sickly ill. The poor thing coudn't even get out of bed... all this young girl wanted, all she desired from her wonderful friends was to see the Golden Flowers of her home village. But before they could make it happen... she died"
Chara shook her head at this point, as if checking for the guardian's attention. Sure she was enjoying the story-but the important part was that Undyne paid attention. That WAS how guilt worked after all.
"The girl's brother refused to let this stand though, brave prince that he was. Using his sister's soul he crossed the barrier in order to bring his sister's body to the flowers she loved so much... but sadly, humans being what they are, they attacked the prince-claiming he himself had killed her"
She was getting to the good part now... the real gut rencher! It was oh so fun to play her games, at times even the ones without blood could entertain her!
"Naturally the girl's soul had no desire for her poor... poor brother to be hurt, so she tried to use her connection to him to teach the humans a lesson... the Prince refused, and with grave injures returned home to his family"
Knife at her side she returned full circle a few inches in front of Undyne. Rather than finish her story however, she decided to play with her a bit more. She was alive at the time after all-she should know exactly what she was referencing.
"So tell me Mrs Undyne, do you know who I am yet? Do you know how this sad story ends? Because I certanly do"

This story was an achingly familiar one. It reminded her of how much she had worked to get to where she was. This story was the start of it all, and she looked at the child that resembled Frisk a bit too much for it to be considered comfortable the entirety of the time that she spoke. Her tone was almost melancholy, but there was so much malicious intent driving the words to be formed in the first place that the Guard couldn't help but look past it after the first few words. Her fists were clenched as soon as new facts started entering the tale, ones that had been unbeknownst to her this whole time. Asgore hadn't.. Filled her in, on that section.
Her facial expression contorted to pity for the first human that had fallen down into the Underground below Mount Ebott, and now that she thought about it-
This wasn't Frisk at all.
"How.. Is that possible?" She asked sternly, not shaken up by the fact that the little hellion before her had a knife close to her person, gripped tightly between her fingers. This was so uncomfortable - there was something in the back of her mind that was screaming how this had all happened before in some weird state of déjà vu that she wasn't push away from her consciousness at all costs. Had this.. Happened before? Everything seemed so messed up ever since she left the barrier; in a way, she was beginning to regret it.
But she would continue to fight. Not just for her own freedom, but for Papyrus, for Frisk, for Sans, and every other monster that she gave oath to protect.
"Both children died." She said in a very matter-of-fact way, her mind then portraying the sight of Asriel Dreemurr having absorbed all of the souls and being able to break out of his form as the godless flower who tormented everyone that walked within its sight. It was because of Aslphys' experiments that such a thing was able to happen, but of course Undyne didn't blame her. She was doing what she was ordered to do, and was willing to sacrifice anything to do so - Undyne related to that with all of her being.
But, if Asriel was able to return, then that could only mean that... Due to their connection, maybe the first human was able to do so as well?

feel your sins crawling down your back. "You know, it's amazing what a few words and a facial expression can tell someone, but you do understand! WHY we look alike I have no idea, but anywaaaay you wanted to know the how right? That requires... an epilogue I'm afraid, so bare with me-or forget me, whatever works"
The girl shrugged, one eye closed, giving a playful wink. It wasn't as if she was particularly worried about facing Undyne. She was a strong fighter, but she was also heavily weighed down with emotion-whether she cared to admit it or not. But she was also unsure of the extent of her own power in this world, She was 'undying' for a reason after all. But their was more than one way to skin a... fish? A broken determination was oh so much easier to deal with than one that was in tact, least she assumed so.
"See this is the good part, your gonna love it! Ultimatly the girl was replaced by another who fell through, see the girl's spirit never left, it was restless after all. Anyway, clearly unimportant girl aside, the new more important girl managed to break the barrier and monsters began to leave... not all mind you"
The demonic little child began fiddling with her knife as she reached the finish of her story. It was really quite fun, fiddling with Undyne this. Chara supposed she might be the only one of the crew more fun to mess with, that actually spill blood from-that would still come later though.
"The ones that remained were introduced to a... new danger from outside. Creatures of darkness, sewing pain and misery. The mass of pain awakened that first child, stirred her spirit and rose her from the grave"
This was where Chara chose to end her story, mainly because their was little point in telling the guardian what happened next. It was simple-some lived and some died, Not a very complicated or important matter. She also decided to refer to herself this time, rather than in third person.
"I wanted to play with those friends again... no matter how unimportant I may be. New and fun games I honed when I woke up. As you probaly guessed by now Mrs Undyne... My name is Chara"
The words were cold, and if one noted the malicious in her words they could tell whatever game Chara wanted to play wasn't the typical idea of fun.
She didn't care to much though, all that really mattered was her playmates playing with her and her knife. The anticipation made her noticeably giddy, in a rather creepy way.
Because Undyne was no different in that regard, she was simply entertaining her more this way.
For now

Undyne tried to make it seem as though she wasn't phased by this, she truly was, but.. How was she not supposed to be disturbed by all of this being told to her as though it were no other type of happy story? The voice that it was being portrayed in was unearthly and vaguely dead, giving off the vibe that this girl was feeling that exact way just below the surface. Something inside of the Royal Guard wanted to reach out to try and help this child, but.. That sounded like something that Papyrus would do. She needed to be the one that could protect anyone that was important to her - this human was posing an obvious threat that couldn't be ignored.
As you probably guessed by now Mrs. Undyne... My name is Chara.
There. That was what she was searching for throughout that awful story that she didn't want to relive but was forced to do so through the girl's words. The aquatic monster took in a gulp of her own saliva, her outtake of breath being unwillingly shaky, her body trembling as her uneasiness traveled throughout, sinking in to the bone. Her expression, however, did not falter. She had never been shaken up to this point before, but she would refuse to let her enemy know that she had won. This was what she was trying to accomplish.
And Undyne would not lose.
"I don't give a damn who you are, kid." She said with a snarl of her lip, lowering her body in the slightest, beginning to make sure that her spears were ready to aid to her calling. She wouldn't be the one that would falter against this monstrosity that was called a child. "All I know is that your stupid game isn't worth my time, or anyone else's."
Undyne took a few steps forward to show just how fearless she really was. Being in the position she was placed in by King Asgore, she simply had to be; however... She was still an individual with her own emotions, and sometimes, those little things could be slightly difficult to control when one wasn't careful.
"And if I find out that you hurt anyone," She raised her hand, placing her pointer finger right up to the kid's face. Her eyes honed in on the knife, making sure to be ready to dodge for any movement made by the hand that wielded the blade. That was the last thing she needed - to lose a damn finger. "anyone at all, as long as I'm still breathing, you'll have to deal with me. Personally."
That snarl turned into a challenging smirk, one that showed she viewed herself to be rather superior.
"Got it, runt?"

feel your sins crawling down your back. "Your lying, which stinks-your no empty shell"
Undyne's confidence wasn't a complete facade, but she was lying when it came to not caring-That much Chara knew, and it was enough to almost make her laugh. If anything, Undyne cared to much. Those weak and useless things... caring... protecting. On top of that fake bravado.... stupid adults always did think they were right... always thought they were so big. But they wearn't! They were small, small as an ant. She was tempted to prove this fact with the fish girl, her finger pointing only fueling that urge. But no.... not quite yet, not when she could have so much more than a few quick seconds of thrill.
"If I.... hurt anyone?"
Chara's happy, if twisted smile dulled into a glare. There it was again, stupid emotion. Stupid limiting fish girl. Was she that foolish? Chara was still a child, yet even she recognised the futility of these things, realized it a long time ago in fact, on the surface. When you cared, all you got in return was pain... when others cared for you the result was no different... it was simple really. She knew it better than anyone. It was also a very easy lesson to teach! Undyne thought she was some magic shield? That she could protect EVERYONE? That was stupid. Truth was the only thing such an outlandish goal would achieve was her own bloody errr... dusty? demise. Still maybe it was that silly, useless emotion mixed with warrior spirit that made her so fun to mess with!
"Oooooh dealing pain for pain, Thats a new concept Mrs Undyne"
Not that she minded. If Undyne chose fight, she would have fun-if she continued wallowing Chara would have fun. It was win win for her ether way. She was... enjoying this game, a game she didn't know the exact end to, it was joyus but... needed to drive the nail into the coffin. She placed a hand on her hip, knife hanging loosely but ready at her side-like she was in thought. She wasn't afraid, what reason was their to be?
"I wonder.... would Frisk agree with that approach?"

What the fuck was up with this kid?
When Undyne tried to play it nice, she was met with games. When she caved and finally decided to try an offensive approach towards Chara, she was met with even more games that the monster didn't want to deal with. Honestly, what she wanted was simply to go back to her friends and be around them and try her best to calm down.. This entire ordeal was wearing her out more than she could even begin to understand. The human was looking at her in an obviously challenging manner, but Undyne.. Didn't really feel like fighting right now.
Even though she had put it out there as a threat, she would wait and see if this little vermin was serious before she jumped to accusations. For all she knew, this could be no more than some prankster trying to scare the life out of people before throwing the knife away and going back to playing house with her dollies or something.
If only it could work out that way.
I wonder... would Frisk agree with that approach?
"You don't know anything about Frisk." She immediately jumped to the defense when it came to her friend that she had grown to know over the time the child spent in the underground. At first, Undyne was supposed to be the one to take her life, but through their act of battle, Frisk was able to change their fate, making it impossible for Undyne to lay a finger on her in a damaging fashion - the monster, in the end, didn't really want to hurt anyone. Frisk was a good person, one that cared about everyone else more so than themselves; she would give up anything if it meant someone would feel just a bit better.
Undyne took in a deep breath and then took a few paces back. She wouldn't let her anger get the best of her right now. Her protectiveness could take her over every now and, but this time.. She simply couldn't afford any slip ups. That knife wavering back and forth in Chara's fingers was a brutal reminder of that fact.
"What about you, huh?" The monster suddenly said, turning things around and narrowing her vision curiously and inquisitively. "How do you think Frisk would think of your shitty approach, huh?"

feel your sins crawling down your back. "Oh... but don't I? It dosn't take much go from being her... to being me"
The girl laughed in a rather childish if slightly hollow manner. manner. Their was a time when she was just as foolish as Frisk but... no more, that stupidity ended a long time ago. Ended when she climbed up Mount Ebott and left that world behind... for a while anyway.
"The lost of a loved one... a close friend... that one thing more important than anything else... theirs actually a lot that can break the human spirit you know!"
The bloodletter kept her position, contemplating what to do next. Would the next move be more entertaining as a stab or with words? Undyne was quite easy to provoke so... if she layered it right perhaps she could make her lose her temper or something before she stabbed her in the gut. That WOULD make the resulting fight more entertaining! Chara could not help but chuckle lightly at her antics. This... This was just all so grand! So many to play with... a whole new world in which to find playmates-New and old.
"And once their broken... so many wonderful things become clear"
They certainly had for Chara. She knew now not to care, only to enjoy the thrill-survival of the fittest, Kill or be killed. it was a grand fact of life, one that guided her even now! It had been a.... harsh lesson sure, but she was better off for it now, FAR better off. Frisk could be to if she wasn't so insistent on playing playing the violence free savior. Buuuut she could help with that right? And if not.... well human's always did bleed the best in her opinion. The girl only sighed of bordom in response to Undyne's insult. What would Frisk do? That was a silly question. Of course a intact Frisk would let herself be stabbed to death in the defense or saving of another. At current Frisk would no doubt try to hug her or something... meaning she disagreed entirely.
"You know the answer to that silly... were different sides of a coin. I'm tails and she's heads, were opposites-and yet still soooo similar"
Why should she care about the feelings of that weakling anyway? She was pathetic and if she didn't change? Just that much more blood splatter on her knife, something she looked foward to with noticeable glee at her thoughts
One by one till all the players were done~

It was no secret that it was easy feat to get to the point where someone was making the monster's blood boil. She could get angry over the littlest things and could get roused by anyone attempting to frazzle her - it was an easy thing to accomplish, and Chara was doing an excellent job at it. If anyone were to insult someone that she cared about, and that meant Frisk, then Undyne was sure to summon her spear and utilize a very real threat. Such a harmful intent being initiated was more times than not most likely enough to keep someone away that she didn't want to deal with, but something was telling the Captain that...
Such a thing would be impossible in this situation.
Every single word that was flowing from the child's mouth was making her blood reach a higher and higher temperature, scalding her from the inside out; her sharp nails dug into the flesh of her palms to the point where she was about to draw blood, but she took a shaky breath in an attempt to calm herself.
She wouldn't fall for this thing's trap. There was no way that this was human, just like her friend. Humans were real shitbags, but this kid took that term to a whole new level that Undyne didn't have the mental capacity to begin to conjure up at the moment.
"You're nothing like her. You'll NEVER be ANYTHING like her." Her voice was quiet and in a tone that represented a child being scolded by their parent. She figured that the patronizing manner of her words would annoy Chara, which was exactly what she was going for. No matter what the hellion said, there was one thing that she would never be able to take away - the fact that Frisk would always be triumphant. Undyne was sure of this. There wasn't a wall that kid couldn't climb, a peak that couldn't be claimed, a soul that couldn't be won over.
Except this one.
"I have to go find the others." Undyne announced, placing one of her hands on her hip and smiling smugly towards the child. "I don't have time for you. Worthless brat." The monster turned, raising one of her hand in a motionless wave before letting it drop loosely back to her side.
"Catch ya later, freak."
[End]

feel your sins crawling down your back. No
Her knife split the wood it impacted before her, the force of the impact causing several cracks to form around the point of impact.
"You're nothing like her. You'll NEVER be ANYTHING like her"
How... How dare she.. she was not Tor... she was NOT her mother. No... even her mother wouldn't have been allowed to... ugggh!
Chara thew her hands to her side in annoyance. That stupid fish had gotten the upper hand for a moment and then fled.. talking that way-scolding her, no... mocking her. Mrs. Undyne wasn't allowed to do that, to ruin her fun so quickly. Mrs. Undyne... had to pay her back.
Chara gave an empty laugh at the thought, a twisted smile forming on her face. She would die. Frisk would die. They all would die. One by one each of them could watch as their family was ripped asunder by her whim. None of them ever had a choice and none of them were ever in control. Chara was though! Every one of them was nothing more than a toy in her game. Toys that needed to be discontinued. That would be fun.
The fallen child pulled her blade from its holding spot, contemplating the game she would play. No more silly 'jokes'. This was rigged, their was no way they could win-not even Undyne! All Chara bad to do was keep coming. They'd all disappear.
They needed each other, they needed Frisk. They were to stupid to see the truth. To stupid to see the uselessness in their bonds. But that was ok, after all-they wouldn't have to worry about much longer. From their prision of flesh Chara would deliver each of them a dusty and bloody end. No one would remember them. No one expect her.she could just replay the moment over again and again... the girl began walking away from the square. Most around her wouldn't notice the knife in her hand Or. If they did simply thought it a young girl trying to defend herself. That was great for her though... it just made them better targets. A bunch of low points in her way to the big scorers.
Every last one of them.
"Kill... or be killed..."
(End x2!)
