Darkness becomes apparent when it is left unacknowledged. The act of ignoring it only makes it more powerful.
The awakening of a rather minuscule animal king was imminent. Prince, nay, King Oswald of Disney court had awoken from a rather unexpected slumber. He didn't intend on taking any naps whilst on his travels around various worlds, but alas, he had awoke in the rather familiar setting of Traverse Town. His cold, solid black eyes blinking open and signifying that he was about ready to begin moving once more, his upper body being brought up and his gloved hand brought up and unto his forehead. Slicking back his long, soft ears and rubbing his temple with the palm of said hand. The frown that oft stained the male's mouth parted and his white teeth being bore as he give an annoyed groan. His head had been pounding for a moment. He could only hope that it would leave him in a short span. Hopping onto his feet, the Lucky Rabbit slid his hand off of his head and brought it by his side. His fingers brushing against the entrance of his silver pocket. The zippers that adorned him jingling and clashing lightly against the metal that they were tasked with closing.
Oswald's attention had been brought up to the sky. The beautiful starry skies that Traverse Town seemed to be locked under were still there and just as beautiful as before. However, unlike before, Oswald was not in the First District of Traverse Town as he normally found himself. Rather, he was in the plaza, hidden behind the main attractions of Traverse. This was unknown to him, as all he knew was that he was before a towering, large fountain that seemed to glimmer with an illustrious gleam. Something of such beauty that could warm many a heart. It certainly outclassed the fountain n the Third District, the one that had two dogs painted and boasted a yellow, golden color. The long forgotten King had continued inspecting his location. A fountain, and a massive wall that was painted with a variety of shades and paints. Art done by the locals, most likely, Oswald had thought to himself. He was impressed, as foolish as it may have seemed, as someone must have clearly put their hardest of efforts into such a project. Appetite to excel was something that many lacked these days around.
"This ain't familiar at all..wonder just what part of Traverse Town I'm in, exactly.." Oswald wondered to himself quietly.
"Hm..how'd I get here anyway? Last I recall, I was in..Hollow Bastion. The Radiant Garden, doing..finding knowledge. Yeah, that's it. But, I don't remember traveling back to Traverse Town and taking a snooze cruise; Let alone flat out goin' to sleep right in the middle of some big plaza. Somethin' is up..or, maybe I'm just forgettin' that I came here on my own. If that's the case, then I got nothin' to worry about. But if it ain't, then I ought' find some answers. Some how." Oswald continued, not vocal as his last piece of speech was. The Rabbit refused to speak aloud lest he needed to and being as he was on his lonesome, he believed talking to himself audibly would make others assume he had a problem. Thus, speaking to himself in his head was the path he went down, as many others did when they had a certain idea or thought process. All the while that the King had been thinking, his hand had been raised up to his chin, rubbing inquisitively.
"I need an answer," Oswald said in a powerful and demanding tone. This statement followed up by his action of walking toward where he thought the answers lie: Ahead. Whomever he'd encounter, he'd speak to and attempt to obtain some form of knowledge.
