Well wasn't this just fine and dandy. Neku sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets. From where he stood on the peak of a roof Traverse Town looked exactly like he'd last seen it. Night time, neon signs in strange places and not another soul in sight. Just what was he doing here? If he hadn't figured that out in the last few days then why would he know now? Apparently Joshua hadn't sent him back to Shibuya or he had but something else had sent Neku back here. Considering he'd spotted a few nightmares on his first day... night? here then that could be the reason. Only this time he didn't have a dream eater just yet but his pins had done their job and had gotten rid of the strange dark creatures. 

Unfortunately boredom was now starting to settle in and Neku didn't like being bored... or not knowing where his friends were for that matter. He hadn't seen another person since he'd woken up. At one point in time he would've been happy with that but now... he was lonely. The others had gotten him used to having friends and constant company. Certainly someone else would've been dropped off in this weird world already right? Maybe they'd know how to leave or better yet just what was going on. 

Neku stepped to the edge of the roof, but still didn't see anyone. Jumping down he spun around and lamppost and ground down a railing to avoid taking the steps. He had to take his action where he could get it. The teen started to walk down a random alley. Maybe someone was hiding... or something. Neku rolled his eyes and rounded a corner. As if.
