How many times had he come here on missions of his own that had been bestowed upon him by the Superior's right-hand-man? He remembered always despising having to take orders from them, but being an obedient little puppy had paid off, getting him the right to be the Lord of Castle Oblivion. Of course, that entire ploy didn't work out in his favor either, but he was determined that this was the way things would finally be turned around for not only the better of himself, but the better of the Nobodies that had been tricked into doing Xemnas' bidding. He had lead them in the opposite direction of where they wanted to be, trying to take Kingdom Hearts for himself and use it for his awful, insane plans.
The hooded figure was roaming about the Land of Dragons, otherwise known as "China," watching all of the soldiers from a distance fight against heartless that had been springing up here. It was amazing how quickly things had gone downhill without their band of misfits to go from world to world, keeping the darkness in check. Lord knows the Keyblade wielders weren't going to waste their time with that now were they?
Marluxia squinted as soon as he saw the hearts float up to the sky aimlessly - there was no way they could be guided into the place they needed to be. They would simply form new Heartless, ones that needed to be taken care of. The cycle was endless and deadly, and no one seemed to understand it but a few, select people. The rest of them were rather imbecilic, he came to find. The twelfth scanned the area with his eyes of brilliant blue as soon as the soldiers had retreated back to their camp; they obviously had no stayed long enough, as another wave of the darkness had sprouted up from the ground, ready to cause havoc. Of course he would be left to deal with this - just his luck.
It was in everyone's favor to keep things down and not to have mass panic strike in any world. Things getting out of hand wouldn't be.. Nice. Rolling his eyes, the tall man in the hood summoned the Grace Dahlia to his hand, swinging it around and resting the shaft of the scythe over his shoulder as he walked over to the heartless. They were only a few simple shadows and knights, so it wouldn't be much of a hassle for him - it was still irritating, however. With tactical and seemingly effortless swings of his weapon, Marluxia had obliterated all of them, and just like before, the hearts rose to the sky without a purpose. He scowled slightly at them, as though willing them to come back. How was it that the keyblade was able to direct them and tell them where to go? It was just a key.
It was then that he picked up the sensation of being watched. The Nobody gracefully swung his scythe over his shoulder again and quickly turned.
