It had been a couple of days since the redhead had arrived in this... simple place. But simple was nice. Sure, her 'welcoming committee' wasn't the most pleasant bunch, but Misty was more than willing to oblige the creatures with a demonstration as to just how she became a gym leader. Eventually, she had found her way towards the First District and the safety it gave. The shadowy creatures didn't seem to like trying to come into this area, and the people were pretty friendly. At present, Misty sat at one of the more out of the way cafes, having herself some tea. A few odd jobs here and there, and one lucky one that was asking for fresh water, and she had accrued up enough funds to have a place to stay, along with munny for food and the like. The next thing on her list was a skirt. Or shorts. The only thing the made people give her odd looks was her 'attire', being what she wore in the gym. Not exactly fitting for being out in public, but it wasn't an optional choice. Looking back down at the heat rising off the cup, the girl would almost seem lost in thought, her cerulean eyes watching the slight ripples caused in the liquid from the tea bag's movement. tag: Demyx

Even though he was here, and had managed to convince the concierge at the hotel into letting him stay indefinitely, Demyx wasn't sure that he wanted to make Traverse Town his 'home.' Of course, home was still something of an abstract concept to him. The Castle had been more o a headquarters, a safe base to return from missions and recharge before going out again. This place wasn't anything like that. It was busy, full of the misplaced and those down on their luck. Sure, he was misplaced, but did he really fit in with everyone? The Organization he'd been a part of had possibly been the cause of some people losing their homes.
Regardless of what he'd done, whatever being that watched over him had decided that reformation was a good idea after his defeat by Sora. For now, Demyx decided it would be best to just live it out day by day. Right now, he needed new clothes. The clothes he'd worn under his cloak were unnecessary reminders, and Traverse Town was the place to shed it all and start again. Unfortunately, clothes shopping just wasn't his thing. He had eventually kept to the outer edges of each of the districts, more than happy to observe others rather than get into the mix just for some new pants. The ones he was wearing could hold up a little longer.
While he'd been busy avoiding others, a flash of red in the corner of his eye caught his attention. Demyx whipped his body around to get a better view, heart pounding a little. So, Axel was back? he had reformed too? .....No. It wasn't, thankfully. If the two of them crossed paths here, right now, Demyx didn't know what he would have done. The two of them had been on alright terms during their time in the Organization; but reformation could have changed him. No, it wasn't Axel, but the person still intrigued him nonetheless. The person turned out to be a girl, probably a bit younger than him. She was sitting by herself, and looked... Lost? Lonely? Whatever it was, it tugged at his heart strings a little. Instead of giving up on his shopping trip and going back to his room, Demyx changed his trajectory and headed over to the table where the girl was sitting.
"Hey there." Demyx greeted softly, giving a little wave as he grabbed the chair across the table and sat down. A slower approach might have been better in this situation, but hey. The worst that could happen was tea in his face. "You kinda looked like you could use some company. I'm.." He paused as he reached out his hand to shake, wondering if he should go with a new name. He decided against it. "I'm Demyx!" A wide smile appeared on his face, hoping to come off as friendly.
