Crono
The first thing Crono noticed as he regained consciousness was a sharp twinge of pain aching through his body. Opening his eyes and raising his head off the ground, Crono immediately took in the unfamiliar victorian scenery. The last thing he remembered was getting ready to say goodbye to his friends from the past as they were about to head back into a Gate, but things somehow went wrong. The vortex drew in Crono, seeming to bring him... wherever "here" was. He could only hope that his friends were alright- they might have been drawn in too.
Groaning a bit as he pulled himself up, Crono managed to bring his bruised body back up onto two feet, he fell back down. He had managed to get himself in a sitting position though Man, he had taken a real beating to get here. So that was why Lucca said to never go through a Gate without a Gate Key... Surveying his surroundings with eyes half open, it seemed like he was in some kind of alleyway in a city of some kind. The sky was dark and only a few lights were left on in the buildings nearby- everyone was hitting the hay. But Crono's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of electricity sparking behind him. Turing around, Crono was shocked to see his ship, the Epoch, behind him. She was rather banged up, but the craft was still intact. It seemed to have nosedived into the ground, as the hull of the ship was diving into the ground somewhat. Had he and the Epoch fallen from the sky? His bruises seemed to support the fact. Crono also did a rundown of his inventory, mentally checking off all of his items. He was relieved to still see his katana in its sheath. Still, questions buzzed through Crono's mind. Where was this place? How was he supposed to get back home? Where were the rest of his friends? He was still just hanging onto consciousness as he managed to take in short breaths of air. After a long period of silence that was occasionally interrupted by the sparking Epoch, Crono heard the faint sound of footsteps approaching. Well, they were in for a surprise. A barely conscious boy and a broken, flying time machine in an alleyway- not something you would find every day. 0392 WORDS | | None yet | | Open to whoever feels like joining~ |

i.imgur.com/w3wxVlm.png The footsteps aformentioned were pretty hurried, actually. Their beholder didn't see the ship whistling down, but the the townspeople he'd spoken to did. Traverse always had a peculiar talent drawing people into it, and that wasn't a surprise here at all. What was surprising was that it drew a large ship in this time.
Skidding to a stop, Sora gaped at the boy lingering in front of the beaten ship, before continuing the rest of the way. "You alright?" he inquired. Blue orbs traced the imperfections on the ship as he winced. "You look like you took a nasty tumble back there...and it doesn't look like you're the only one."
Sora remembered when he ended up here for the first time. He'd been overly confused, but also very astonished because he'd always dreamed of ending up a new world. Not many shared that dream though, and he knew that. Nowadays, when people usually ended up here, it was because they hadn't intended to.
That could have been a possibility here, actually. Pursing his lips in concern, Sora later tried, "Do you...know where you are?"

Crono
"You alright?""Well I'm not dead yet."
Crono responded with the strength he still had left in him, although his voice was still a bit hoarse. He and the Epoch had been pretty bruised up. His ship was always quite endurant, but this was the most damage it received in a long while. It would be almost impossible to fix it's time travelling abilities, as the technology it was created with was from the future. There was no telling how long it would take to fix it by himself- Lucca was the one who knew everything about technology. "You look like you took a nasty tumble back there... and it doesn't look like you're the only one."Well, he had to agree with that. Looking back to the battered Epoch, Crono noticed just how badly it was damaged. It looked like some wires and some other gizmos had fallen out of the machine and were scattered about. He even spotted a gear on the roof of a nearby house. Hopefully she could still fly. Not to mention he was almost as badly damaged as the Epoch. Crono did his best to work through the pain, despite occasionally wincing as his bruises stung him like bees. It could have been worse, like that one time he died, or the other time when he and his friends got stuck in prehistoric times. "Do you... know where you are?"
Crono really had no idea where he was. Or when, really. He was used to the concept of time travel since he had even used it once, so the idea that he might have been taken backwards or forwards through time was one of the many guesses that came into his head. "...No, not really. I have my theories, but..." 0296 WORDS | | Sora | | yep, fine by me |
