Golden Glow [Open]

Yang had been in this town now for over a week and she hadn't seen hide nor hair of any of her friends, or Ruby, which bothered the golden haired beauty more than she would like to let it show. She had taken to wandering the districts though admittedly she found herself drawn to the post office more often than she would admit if anyone asked. Riding around the rails at least provided her with some enjoyment while she was mostly reduced to a melancholy gait as she looked for her sister and asked anyone new if they had seen a girl in a red hood, a girl with dark hair and cat ears, or even a girl in all white with white hair and a scar over her eye. She would take anything at this point. The little dragon just wanted to know where her friends were. 

It was on one of these expiditions out that she saw her first Heartless, and at first it looked adorable, and made her think of their dog Zwei. And then it had scratched her, and that had been all it took to set her off, she punted the strange little creature just as more of them appeared, and now she was reminded of Grimm instead. She shifted her arms and rolled her shoulders with a little grin. Finally something to fight, something to take out the disapointment of not being able to find her sister on. She moved quickly, firing two shots that burst with fire at two of the larger Heartless while quickly moving to knock another into the air with a well placed punch. A fourth met the heel of her boot and she couldn't help but give a laugh with glee. She'd missed fighting and the outlet it gave her. 

A few more appeared when she took out the first two or three and she gave a little frown," What the heck are you?!" 

Grimm sure didn't just pop out of the ground, well, not usually anyway.

When he'd finally forced himself up and out of the cozy little hole in the wall he'd vegetated in for the past few days, his intent for the evening hadn't been to look for entertainment. No, boredom couldn't rouse him from sleep--that was hunger's specialty alone. Since arriving in this strange little bundle of neighborhoods, the Joxter had taken to periodic, nightly raids where he'd use his height (or lack thereof) to slip into merchants' supplies unnoticed and eat his heart's content. Tonight was one of those nights, or so contended his stomach, who might've been the only voice of reason the little troll would listen to. Foraging had been the objective of this particular outing. Entertainment along the way was just on of life's little rewards for getting off his lazy ass and doing something worthwhile. The Joxter winced when the back of the girl's boot hoofed a shadowy little gremlin into oblivion. She even laughed; what a savage. He swung his legs over the sides of the roof where he was perched, a few meters across, and rapped his claws against the tiles. Over the years he'd learned that it was easier to travel above the crowd when logged in densely populated areas (maybe it was the cat in him) and he'd caught the earlier bit while on the prowl, when a few poor decisions on both parties' parts had led to the golden-haired young woman drawing metal. The exchange had struck him as humorous. But he was still hungry, he supposed, and it looked like the show was over--he was mid-yawn when more of the creatures materialized, and he leaned in with renewed interest. Dinner could wait a few more minutes. "Perhaps they're some breed of Nibling, or a Ghoul." He raised his voice enough to be heard at a distance. "Are you still having fun bullying them?"

The voice caught her attention and she stared for a moment before she continued fighting with the little creatures, loading a few rounds into Ember Cecilia before firing at them with some well directed shots from the wrist mounted shotgun gauntlets," I don't know what those are, but they remind me of Grimm, and they aren't any good." A few bigger ones appeared with the clank of heavy metal. She gave a groan, she only had so many rounds unless she could find a new source of dust or magic. 

A claw managed to sink itself into the back of her calf and she gave an angered growl, kicking it hard enough that it dispersed. "So what are you just going to stand there and watch these things attack me or what?!" She recalled the earlier bullying comment. She hadn't started this fight, but Yang was certainly going to finish it. She aimed low and caught another Heartless in the jaw guard, sending it hurtling into a wall hard enough to crack bricks before it disappeared. 

The blonde beauty was getting more and more annoyed as time went on. And so she hatched what was probably a stupid plan but she was going to do it anyway. She let the Heartless start to close in on her before plowing a path through them, dashing up the side of a wall to perform a leap and coming down with the full force of her fist, creating a shockwave as well as even more abuse to the cobblestones beneath them. Most of the Heartless vanished without a trace, the rest of them scattered away from her. Good. 

"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?!" She shouted at her audience, eyes still glowing red with irritation.
