Cause darling I'm a
nightmare
dressed like a
daydream
"Baan... Banchan... Where are you...?"
A lonely voice called out from the depths of the dark forest that was the Enchanted Dominion. Looking duly out of place, the blond-haired Get Backer forlornly wandered the animal paths that the deer and bears had created through the forest, looking utterly lost. And utterly lost indeed was he, who had no sense of direction, much less where he could possibly be.
One minute he had been peacefully asleep in their car, curled up on the backseat with Ban in the front, then the next he'd found himself waking up under an ominously gnarled tree with black thorns arching around it. This place was dark and creepy- the sky seemed to be filled with black clouds and with a green tinge to it. This place was nowhere that Ginji had ever been before, and even more worrisome, there was no sign of Ban anywhere... not even a living soul.
Where could everyone have gone? How had he gotten here? Without Ban by his side, Ginji felt off balanced and even scared, not knowing what to do or where to go. Ban was the solid rock that he clung to during the roughest storms, and without him by his side... the whole world seemed like an endless and tumultuous ocean.
"Baaan..." There was no sign anywhere of the black haired, purple-glasses wearing man. Sighing softly, Ginji rubbed the back of his head and shivered slightly as a cold wind rustled through the trees and shrubbery around him. Continuing through the forest, he could only hope that somewhere he would be able to find someone, or something, who could tell him where he was.
What felt like several hours later, but was more likely to only be a half hour or so, he came upon something surprising. A stark contrast against the background, a black and ruinous looking castle rose up from the depths of the forest, cold and forbidding.
It was better than the forest, right? Pulling his vest closer around himself, Ginji gingerly trudged up the drawbridge and past the portcullis. Looking up at the large doors, he carefully took one of the handles and knocked a few times. Hearing no answer after a few minutes, he carefully pulled the door open and slipped inside. Holding up a hand, he created a spark of electricity in his palm to ward off the darkness that this place was drowning within.
"Hello...?" He called out slowly, his voice echoing around the eerily abandoned entrance hall. Looked like this place hadn't seen a visitor in a very long time...
