IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUTSIDE. BIRDS ARE SINGING, FLOWERS ON BLOOMING. ON DAYS LIKE THESE, KIDS LIKE YOU... SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL.
“ Sans was always glad to see a familiar face- Scratch that. Sometimes glad. He had seen something all too familiar, and he hated it. Those weird black things were once again pursuing him. He had first spotted one while he was looking for Papyrus and Frisk after he met up with Undyne, and more of them just showed up from there. Every time the skeleton struck one down, more would rise in their place. Persistent little buggers. By now there were probably a couple dozen of them. Running through an alleyway, a large dragon-esque skull materialized by Sans and blasted a beam of energy at the beings. Sans knew not to stop running, though. He didn't pay attention to how many popped out of the ground this time. But he was running low on energy now, and was getting dizzy. Most of the townsfolk weren't to keen to help him, either. Rounding a corner and hiding behind a conveniently-placed dumpster, the skeleton watched as the creatures scampered past. A few had scratched him as he was running, and only now did he notice some scratches and bruises on his skull and bones. As skilled as he was, these things just kept coming back, like another foe he faced before. They couldn't be beat easily, and Sans knew more would come soon. Why they were chasing him so persistently and what they were, Sans didn't know. But he wasn't going to be dusted today. But... he was kind of tired. Sans worked his way to a bench out of the alleyways, promptly flopping down onto it and taking in as much air as his breaths could. Today was exhausting. Sans was in a strange new world, with his friends all separated. Now these things decided to show up again. The wounded skeleton still scanned the area for any sign of their beady eyes. If any of them showed up now, well, he'd be boned, eh? But the skeleton still found himself wondering one more thing- What was next? ” notes Just a little thread to keep the creative juices flowing. Anyone can join~

feel your sins crawling down your back. 'Joy' That was the defining emotion Chara felt as she moved about, or that was to say joy in the sensation she got from plunging her knife deeper and deeper into each of the shadowy creatures she came across on these streets. They were quite fun. For one She could manipulate the weaker ones towards attacking those she wished, aside from that though they seemed to come back to fight just as much as Chara herself! Barring the monsters themselves, they were quite the fun pastime. The amount she could slice into seemed almost endless. In fact the only odd thing was in the match she was currently fighting. Unlike the rest of the heartless which tended to give her the pain she inflicted. Upon them these... were slower, as if a majority of them had been weakned and that just well... it cut into the pleasure the fight brought her heavily.
Now most of the people in this town were weak, unable to defend themselves from even a simple stab-She knew that by experience. But... Undyne was here, the others the could be here. Frisk certainly didn't do this damage after all... so she could only imagine it to be the work of her befriended (and stolen) monster pals defending her. So that meant that their was more fun to be had than just the endless outpouring of shadows she was cleaning up.interested she began following the trail of the injured creatures as she cut them down, the exercise itself was starting to drain her... but that only invigorated her more in the end.
Eventually she came across a space where the creatures began to become fewer and fewer until at last they just... stopped. It was a pretty bland area, the only notable things to view being four benches and a short skeleton sitting on a bench...
Wait
The demonic child turned her face towards the familiar sight and began slowly walking towards it. First Undyne..... Now Sans! That wad two of the most.esters from back 'home' this was just getting better and better! He looked so tired... so weak and prone... hehe it would be so easy to just run him through right now! Should she? Would she? Only time would tell.
"Mr.Sans! You look pretty... bone dry there"
As the words left her mouth she let her knife hover at her side, if one watched the blade they could see the constant switch between complacent to ready to strike, not an overly pleasant thing for a weakened skeleton to watch she supposed, oh well.
"I guess your not in much condition for a game... huh?"
Though with Chara it didn't really matter, not in the end.

“ Shock immediately coursed through the skeleton's spine as he heard another familiar sound he never wanted to hear behind him as he jolted somewhat just hearing the child's voice, but regained his composure. The skeleton turned around with his white pupils affixed on the child as he stood up from his spot with his hands in his pockets, tightly clenched. " * heya. seems like you've been busy, huh?"
Sans was slightly nervous, but it wasn't like he hadn't been through this whole spiel before. He was in no shape for a long fight, but there was a temptation to go all out on this kid for what she did to everyone. He could just go with his usual flurry of attacks first, or maybe even try to trap them with his bone attacks. Heck, maybe he could even strike if the demonic human went into a monologue. Still, if they were going to fight, an attack would be nothing if it didn't hit. He was tired, but there was a lot of FIGHT left in the skeleton. But for now, he'd try a more pacifistic route. But if she took a few more steps forward... Well, bad times were ahead of them.
" * you know, even if i did kill you... " His pupils disappeared, leaving nothing but empty, black sockets. " * you'd just come back, right? " Sans looked at the child closing his eyes and reopening them with his pupils back in place, his normal grinning expression still on his face. Heck, just throw this right back into the Last Corridor and it would probably just be like last time. But it seemed like they hadn't killed any monsters yet- there was a lack of dust on Chara's hands. " * so what'll it be this time? do i hafta do this whole spiel again now? because i think you may know exactly what i'm capable of."

feel your sins crawling down your back. Chara closed her eyes and smiled in response to lazy bones question. Had she been busy? Of course she had been busy! Their was so much to do in this new world! New faces, old faces, faces currently in the ground. Her new little pets/extra playthings in the shadow beasts. Oh and the officer from earlier, their was him to. Of course today had been busy, had to make a good first impression riiigghhht? If she had to be honest with herself she quite enjoyed seeing the skeleton in this state, more so than her usual toys. She couldn't quite put her finger on it... like a memory nagging at the back of her skull, it was there. She supposed it didn't really matter though-the point was he was prone. She was.... curious of the fight he could put up in such a state.
"Well yeah, this games to fun to quit"
The funny thing was, Sans understood a lot more than he let on. He was to perceptive for his own good-specially for someone without a power like hers and Frisk's. But then... maybe that was what made Sans such an entertaining opponent. One always got the feeling he knows. Sans-someone regarded as 'weakest' monster in power. Health didn't mean squat if you never got hit to begin with. It was... strange, something that was both thrilling and frustrating to her. Sans... had they fought before? Even if they hadn't... she wanted to. With the demonic tenge laced in her childish voice she responded to the skeleton.
"Kids don't do monologues Mr.Sans.... I'm not in my grave anymore, that says enough"
She found herself giddy with excitement. Undyne had refused to attack her. She was weak now, pathetic and warped by the eighth human. She... She used be strong, used to be fun... not now-Only Chara could change that. Sans on the other hand! Sans seemed under the impression they had fought before, maybe even several times before! He seemed ready and able, didn't he?
The sinful girl gave a second childish chuckle, like a child that finally got the present she wanted before spreading her knife firmly in her hand.
"What? No speech? No 'your a demon' or 'I won't let you hurt anyone'?"
She let the thoughts roll in her head before focusing squarely on Sans.
"No.. that's not Sans huh?"
She shook her her head and readied her knife-eager and hungry.
"But you know me, so you know what happens if you get in my way right?"

“
" * wow, you really don't remember either? heh. i guess that's a good thing. but sure, i'll play your little game."The skeleton said with a shrug. He expected the kid to be a little more on-guard if they knew what onslaught of attacks was coming. This would be... interesting. He knew Chara would just reload if she died to him, but Sans decided to give this "game" a go. He still was not happy with what she did to all of his friends before. But the fact that even Chara, the catalyst for the genocide of the monsters, did not remember her sins. But she'd soon feel them crawling up her back again. "But you know me, so you know what happens if you get in my way right?" " * yup."
His response was blunt and monotone. He knew what would happen more than anyone else. One of them would die. And so far, it looked like Chara was going to be on the receiving end. If she didn't know what was coming. But worst case-scenario, Sans could flee with his teleportation. The big clock tower was a spot he knew well enough to warp there, since the skeleton had woke up there. But Sans knew more than any of his friends and family could possibly imagine. He knew he'd have to crack for them soon, but that bridge would be crossed later.
" * well, let's get right to the point. but before we do this..." There was no need for sugarcoating. Sans needed to know. He narrowed his eyes as his feet spread apart into a slightly more battle-ready position as the kid readied her knife, his pupils fixed onto hers. The smile vanished from his face, replaced with a more serious expression as the skeleton raised his head and straightened his back, instead of staying in his usual slumped and lazy position, his demeanor changing slowly. Beneath his lazy and comical exterior lied plenty of knowledge and power he kept to himself. The memories only he had of the end of monsterkind and possibly humanity flashed before him. He truly wished he forget those like everyone else, but it seemed like life had other plans for the skeleton and demonic child. He figured he'd fight them for a little while to test them- see if they could predict his attacks and dodges. Sans wasn't strong in his own eyes- and everyone else's. They didn't know. But heck, his skill level probably could have placed him in the Royal Guard. Or the fact that he was the only monster in the underground that had enough sense to dodge. * be honest with me. in another time, after another RESET... did you k i l l us all?" ”

With your DETERMINATION you wished EXTERMINATION This was... fun! Sans seemed to know things Chara didn't, or at least timelines she was currently unaware of. Was that... possible? Of all people Sans would be the one capable of of it she supposed. Her mom and And D.. errrr Asgore and Toriel Papyrus and Undyne.. Alpys... all of them, no one ever remembered her actions after a reset... except Sans. He always seemed to have some inkling of her actions, good or bad. He was by far the most interesting person of the underground, perhaps not the most durable... but certainly a anomaly among the monsters. In the end Chara's reply was a sigh. She certainly would have loved to know the memory lazy bones hated her for. It wasn't exactly an easy feat getting the guy to hate someone to begin with, let alone getting him to express such hate. In order for such a 'hate' to blossom... she supposed it would take nothing less than full genocide. A smile crept on the demon child's face-yep that was probaly it, the only feat she hadn't tried before the plan and Asrial's betrayal. Asrial... That... That coward! Their plan was perfect... heh it was ok though. This world was full of humans. Sure they wearnt the same as the ones that she hated but well.., they would suffice for now. So did she ever kill them all? Sans voiced the question she was thinking on. Was he on the same wave length as her? Stupid face reader. She SUPPOSED she did owe such a good opponent an answer though and anyway... she wanted to see how he would react.
"Timelines of Love and LOVE Sans"
She put emphasis on the second wording of love, making it clear what she meant. She tilted her head to the side, eager to play her game. She was more eager for blood letting than mind games but a bit more couldn't hurt-just for good measure.
"THIS Chara never did get around to it before brother's and mines failed plan... perhaps.... you point your blame at the wrong child? A memory as good as yours... are you sure your precious Frisk didnt feel the rush in a timeline or two?"
That was it, Chara said what she wished. Her voice went silent-all one could see upon her face was cold bloodlust. A bloodlust born of 'What ifs' And 'Because she cans' Chara's DETERMINATION was a nightmare for most-She was a demon, a monster that was never going to go away. Sans knew that. Everyone else didn't... but Sans did. Perhaps that was why he was such an entertaining fight. He knew what she was going to do, knew what she was capable of.... of course it could also be that he didn't stand still like the rest. He couldn't dodge forever though. He was going to die, they were going to die. Frisk was going to die... this whole world... ANY world, every timeline.... she knew the outcomes. Nothing brought her more joy anymore than 'Kill or be killed' So they could all die for all she cared, everything could just die.
And so the LOVE demon rushed foward with knife in hand. The aura of bloodlust was thick around the child as she made several slashing attempts at the skeleton. Through all of it she remained deadly silent. Their was no evil laugh, no evil chuckle or ramblings. The only source of emotion on this child's face came from the aura she put out-And the smile upon her face.
♥ Sorry For The Long Wait!
