The blond boy had begun to lead his friend through the halls, looking around to see if he could find any sign of Axel anywhere. They were pretty deep into the depths of the Castle, as the reason Roxas was even back there was to see if any of the other Organization members had risen from the depths of nonexistence. He was faced with a much better alternative, however, and was given Namine! What a fantastic turn of events, and he wanted to share his little "victory" with Axel, who was somewhere.. Yeah, he was somewhere.
Blue eyes scanned all the halls, finding that there was no flamesilocks in sight, and eventually, the pair found themselves in the gray room. Roxas looked out of the window, the broken Kingdom Hearts looming overhead in such a melancholy stature. It was sad, hoenstly - to see everything that they had worked for, what they were promised, hanging over them in a consistent, awful reminder that they were betrayed by the only thing they trusted. The promise of completion after being separated from their hearts for so long.
"Oh! I bet I know where he is," Roxas suddenly stated, turning to Namine with a brilliant grin. "Sometimes he likes to cook stuff, so I bet he's in the kitchen. Probably making cookies or something." He announced, not really perceiving the possibility that Namine could be surprised by that fact. He wound down a few more hallways, the scent of something sweet beginning to filter in through the air. Yeah, he was definitely doing something in the kitchen, something that Roxas didn't oppose at all.
Axel's cookies were always the best. He then turned into a room, seeing the redhead fiddling with something above the stove, his hair pulled up into a spiked ponytail.
"Hey, Axel! Look who I found in the castle!"

Today had been completely unproductive. It wasn't for the lack of trying, but the Flurry of Dancing Flame had found that his morning had been an utter waste of time. He had gone out to one world in search of the others, offering strangers descriptions of "friends." Of course, he had only chosen a select few to look for, but Roxas' needn't know that right now. Maybe one day he would divulge the fact that several former members would be very upset with him, but he would have to find the right time, if ever there would be one.
That hadn't been the only thing to aggravate him. Sora had mentioned that he might be able to get a Keyblade, however, he wasn't sure if he had a heart, no less one strong enough to summon such a weapon. The redhead had tried to figure out how to summon one on his own. It didn't seem like that would be happening any time soon. The brunet would soon have to prove his worth once Axel tracked him back down and made time for his "training."
For now he had to make sure there was something to show for his day. He wanted an actual result for his hard work and the one thing he was certain would do exactly that was cooking. He was going very casual today, knowing that the chances of having company was slim to none at best. His coat was left forgotten on his bed and his hair pulled back and away from his face. A few stray strands still fell forward, but it was a lot less with the elastic band keeping most of it "tamed."
He had spent the better part of the last hour baking cookies and there was damn near enough to feed a small platoon once this last batch came out of the oven. It was smelling wonderful and sweet which put him at ease. The only downfall of baking so much was now he was convinced that he had to cook something that was actually good for the body. He was tidying up and replacing baking utensils with things to make a delicious meal when foot steps caught his attention.
He glanced at the door to see his love entering the space and bringing a smile to his face. His verdant gaze moved past the Keybearer to the other short blonde. He raised a brow, somewhat surprised that Namine would grace any place Marluxia and Larxene were known to frequent. Hey, Namine. How's freedom treating you? He asked as he stopped what he was doing. The Flurry walked toward the pair and opened his arms to Roxas. You just like collecting people, don't'cha, kid? He gave a low chuckle and kept his demeanor pleasant. Hopefully the sight of him would keep Namine at ease since he had been the one to help her escape. After what the other two put her through, he wasn't sure how well she would take to any other Organization member other than Roxas. As a part of Sora, and very clearly a sweet and innocent person, he didn't see why anyone would have an aversion to the shortest former member.

After making a reconnection with Roxas in the hallway, Naminé was delighted to search for the red headed friend of his. Maybe Axel would have an understanding as to what had happened. By this point, being so determined to get more answers resolved about people reappearing made her surprised at herself. Aside from the goal to fix what she did to Sora’s memories, nothing else made her work so hard to be complete until this. As Roxas looked outside at the sight of Kingdom Hearts, she too shared the view with him. It’s remarkable, she thought. Such a beautiful, yet destructive piece of this world. How many of us marvel at it’s true potential. When Roxas spoke on where Axel could be, she slightly chuckled with amusement. “Axel? Cook? How impressive” She said. However, she thought, it does make sense. After all, he does have talent with flames, so she probably cooks like a master chef.Entering the room with Roxas, she took inhaled deeply and welcomed the scent of baking into her nostrils. The last time she had any dessert felt like forever. So long that she can’t recall the last treat she had the delight to consume. Suddenly her stomach grumbled. Her sketch pad quickly covered her stomach, hopefully covering the noise as much as possible. “Why hello there, Axel. What a pleasure seeing you.” She said. She became aware that the Flurry of the Dancing Flames wasn’t in his Organization attire, but instead in his personal, more relaxed clothing. Even his red hair was in a different style than usual, “You sure do look comfy. Is this how a master chef cooks? Your sweets smell remarkable, by the way!” Her eyes were set on the desserts that he made, watching the steam slowly rise.

This is definitely what he had been missing. Being surrounded by people that he cared about and cared about him in return. This feeling was precious, and shouldn't be traded for anything in the world. He remembered that he willingly walked away from Axel when he was dealing with so many internal conflicts with himself, and honestly, he would never forgive himself. Although Xion was still missing, and might be for a very long time, Namine was a wonderful find and he would fight to the death before letting her go again.
He responded the the redhead's outstretched arms, of course taking the small girl with him, bringing them both into a big hug bestowed to them by the Flurry. The warmth was wonderful, and the sense of completion that Roxas felt simply by being around the two of them was otherworldly. He grinned largely, looking at Namine with a sense of joy glimmering in his azure eyes. Nothing could match this, definitely.
"So I was thinking," The young Nobody began after their little hug session was over. "If Namine doesn't have anywhere to go, she could just stay here, with us!" He was looking at the both of them, a little too hopeful to the point where he looked like a puppy about to be given a treat, and who could deny such a thing in the long run? Having someone else here in this huge building would definitely make it feel a little more like home. Of course all of the members from the Organization weren't exactly his friends, but the boy had simply gotten so used to having people around. It was a strange sense of security for him, and he was already starting to feel that coming back to him with Namine being here.
He slipped away quickly to grab one of the cookies that was on a plate, bringing it to his mouth and finding it was still warm from the oven. The sweetness and chewiness of the small desert was absolutely to die for, and it was gone in a matter of seconds. Axel's cooking truly was the best.
"Whaaaadiya say..?"

The redhead grinned at Namine as she pointed out his attire. While he did actually like his leather coat, it wasn't necessary all the time. He did run a hand over his hair, feeling the odd sensation of the locks being so restrained. This chef, sometimes. You gotta taste my food before calling me a master though, He responded to the young girl as he embraced them both. He wasn't really comfortable hugging Namine more so for the fact that he never really got to know her all that well. It seemed to be what Roxas wanted though, and he would make an effort to be friendly. He wasn't sure if it would contribute to her being comfortable here, or just making her uncomfortable since they weren't truly friends.
However, sweets might sway her over to his side a bit more. He ruffled the Key's hair as he ate a cookie then picked up a plate from the table. He offered the fresh treats to the artist. He had said she only need to try his cooking once to call him a master, but a true meal would still be the test to see if she retained that opinion. He gave a small noise of thought at the proposition of Namine coming here to live.
The Flurry had no issue with another person in the castle. It was a little on the lonely side knowing that there were only two of them here. The Dusks didn't count as half the time he was trying to keep them out of certain rooms anyway. Another voice to call down the hallways would be nice and the blonde girl wouldn't be the worst choice. He could think of several others that would make him pack up and move first. That being said, he might just have to make a plan B with this new addition. He was certain that he could talk any of the others that Roxas and he were useful and that if they didn't like them, it wasn't worth it to make a big deal of their living arrangement.
Namine was a different story as she had already shown her usefulness as a tool against Sora. They didn't need a repeat if someone got the bright idea of reclaim their old purpose, or something similar. Well, it would give him something else to do that would prove a good deal more productive. You can stay only if you answer one question first, He said, expression going serious as he put the plate of cookies back down. He leaned down to look her in the eye as he narrowed his own. For a moment, he seemed a little too serious, as if this could go rather badly depending on her answer.
After a few moments of silence Axel asked, What do you want for dinner? He let a small grin pull the corners of his lips up. It was hardly a life or death question but an important one. He hadn't decided what kind to cook next and he would be able to prepare something that Namine was sure to like to welcome her to her new home. It would be a good start to this new chance she had been offered.

Her long blonde hair dangled behind her back as Roxas brought her and Axel into a group hug. It's not often for Naminé to be invited into a big hug like this, however it was more of a forced in hug rather than a requested one. Nonetheless, Roxas seemed extremely comfortable with the red head, and herself, to do this, so the both of us must have a special place in Roxas' memories. This kind of simple act must make him feel that all is well with the world, she assumed.
When the hug was released, she brushed her hair off to her right shoulder with her hand. There now, she thought, this feels much better. The idea of her hair in a different place caused her slight discomfort, but that feeling quickly escaped her when the young blonde spoke. With a smile, she saw in Roxas' blue eyes and how happy he was. It's no wonder how friendly this member of the Organization was. Impressive, really. How nobodies can truly possess a desire for other beings. Being so determined to keep me around, she listened as he seemed to request a sort of blessing from Axel.
She glanced to Axel and pleasantly accepted a cookie from the plate that he offered. She placed her sketch book on the counter top beside her, used both hands to break the cookie in half, and admired how the steam arose from the center. Her eyelids closed as she bit into a half and chewed with a sigh. So soft . . . and comforting. Food hasn't been as important to her lately, much less desserts, so to be treated with a cookie that made her feel so positive about the world's little things was a new experience for her.
Her blue eyes opened to Axel's presence. His question on dinner made her swallow harder than expected. Dinner? But we haven't even finished dessert. But, I suppose it is time for dinner. To her, The Flurry was a member of the Organization that seemed to have a lot of determination behind each action. I could say anything I would like, but would it be a right answer for him? Hard to say unless I give it a shot.
After finishing the other half of the treat, she took a short amount of time to ponder her answer. After a vocal hum, she grinned and said, "Let's try something warm. How about . . . some barbecue wings and a side of thick french fries?" This meal would probably take some time to make, but at least it's finger food and manageable. She picked up her sketch book from the counter top as she waited to see a facial reaction of both the blonde and red head's.

[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: @littlemiss Axel ♡NOTES: the happiness here is absolutely wonderful, I need more happy stuff XD This... Was almost like some sort of dream. Roxas was on the verge of being afraid to even blink, because if he opened his eyes again, he'd be waking up back before he had found both Axel or Namine, let alone Vanitas and Sora. Everything was so much better than it used to be; pieces were truly starting to fall into place. Even though they didn't have any answers as to what was going on due to the time rift that they were apparently stuck in, the blond was beginning to truly not.. Care. All that mattered was finding who had been lost and saving whoever was possible.
Namine's idea for food was absolutely perfect, and the young boy's stomach was already growling in anticipation for putting the sweet, savory and spicy deliciousness past his lips. He gae a few nods towards he redhead, affirming that Namine's suggestion was, in fact, a winner.
Roxas blinked his azure eyes when the artist picked up her sketchbook from the table, instantly moving over to her without thinking twice about it. He sat down on one of the chairs next to them, leaning against the counter top, never once taking his eyes off of her. "Have you drawn anything recently?" He remembered looking at all of Namine's drawing plastered on the wall in the White Room. The castle in the depths of Twilight Town's forest was littered with markings of this very special Nobody, and the Key of Destiny appreciated all of them; albeit he didn't quite understand them at the time.
With all of his memories intact and rejoined with each other, he was now able to appreciate the girl's artwork to its full potential, and he was eager to see more, if they were available to him. He always believed that looking at someone's imaginative creations showed what was going on inside their head, even if it was in an abstract way. Being a Nobody, understanding people didn't come too terribly easy to him. If there was a way that he could understand his friend better, then he would do it without question. The cook was patient as Namine chose her first meal in this castle with seeming care. He stepped away to continue cleaning up from his baking so he could better set up for his next task. What made him pause was when the young girl spoke up. He glanced back at her with a raised brow. Wings? That didn't really seem her speed, but who was he to argue. His gaze drifted over to the other blond and saw his agreement.
He made a small noise and started pulling ingredients out. He wouldn't make them too spicy as he didn't think the artist would care for that. Maybe he would make a spicier dipping sauce just in case, but the initial coating would be to the sweeter, tangier side. He remained quiet as the other two settled into the space. Actually, if they were going to remain in the room it would be best if they actually sat. He cleared his throat to gain a moment's attention from the pair and he motioned to the chairs at the small table.
That would place them both with piles of cookies directly in front of them, but he trusted that Namine would have some control. Maybe she would be able to control the Keybearer. Axel returned to creating the right flavor profile for their wings. For as tall and brightly colored he was in some aspects, he planned on making himself as unobtrusive as possible. He would let the other two Nobodies that were connected in many ways reunite in peace. He was just the chef today.

"Oh." Naminé stated in response to Roxas' topic discussion of choice, after watching Axel proceed with creating the meal. She was slightly distracted with how the red head glided through the kitchen once the given meal choice was specified. He seemed to appreciate a clean kitchen. It never crossed her mind that cleanliness was important to this member of the castle, but it was a pleasant quality in him that she enjoyed.
Her fingers flipped through her sketch book, and her eyes waited for a blank sheet of sketch paper to catch her vision, "Actually, I was hoping to draw all three of us, and of what we have been doing in this kitchen. That is, if everyone is interested in that." She stopped at the empty sheet, and looked up. She leaned to Roxas, then to Axel. Her plans to alter any memories today wasn't on her to-do list, so her hopes were set on them being alright with this idea. It would be lovely to have a memory with all three of us, that would be new and unique to add to my collection, she pondered. After all, this is an opportunity for herself to try and expand her knowledge on others in the castle. It hasn't been exactly easy to be around here, especially since some Organization members kept her in the White Room for a long period of time. To have the chance to truly explore these two and their personalities is a real treat to her.
After taking a seat in a chair by the small table, the artist grabbed the pencil from the hold of being bound and pulled it out, releasing it from the sketch book grasp. She rested the sketch book on top of the table and looked up with a beam of optimism on her face.

[attr="class","tiacon"] [attr="class","tiabox"] ♡TAGS: @littlemiss Axel ♡NOTES: the happiness here is absolutely wonderful, I need more happy stuff XD The smile of a lifetime appeared on his face the moment he got his friend's response on what it was she wanted to draw in her sketchpad. Roxas, of course, wasn't sure how any of her powers worked, or even that much about Namine, but he did know that he cherished her, and he was so happy that she was going to be able to stay here with he and Axel. Vanitas was also a resident here, so that was going to be.. Interesting. Those two meeting kind of felt like a disaster waiting to happen, but it would happen eventually. The raven-haired hellion was quite a ticking timebomb, but the blond boy took him the way he was with open arms.
That was just like him, wasn't it?
"That sounds like a great idea!" Roxas was as enthusiastic about things like this as always, that smile of his turning into the most joyful of grins, one that was impossible to suppress - not that he was planning on it anyways. This dream, no - this reality, was something he.. Actually wasn't frightful of ending. He was sure that no matter what happened, he would always have someone by his side, supporting him whenever he were to fall. That took away a lot of fear and doubt that the boy had in himself and replaced it with admiration he had for those close to him.
Whenever Sora said that his friend were his power, there was a deep meaning to those words that couldn't be explained verbally. He nodded to Namine when she looked up at him, looking back down at her sketchpad to watch the artist at work, wondering how she was able to move her hand in the ways she did to create such magnificent works of art. Roxas could never even dream of being able to take a blank piece of paper and create a piece that one would consider "artwork," but there were other things he was good at. This was just.. A bit of a mystery to him, and the boy was always an eager one to learn.
"Do you.. Mind if I watch?" He said, glancing over at the redhead and meeting his gaze to share the smile with him as well. This day was a great one - one that was desperately needed during these odd times. Axel blinked at Namine as she asked his permission to draw him. No one had ever bothered to try and remember him that way. For years he had been so used to hiding in the shadows in more ways than one. Now he didn't have to. Now he didn't have to worry about anyone finding out about his existence so evidence of it wasn't cause for concern. He glanced at Roxas and saw how on board with the idea he was.
Just make sure to catch my good side, He said with a wink. He turned from the blond pair and settled into a rhythm to prepare their guest's request. She would have plenty of time to get into her drawing as he wanted to make sure the flavoring would be just right for them. He wanted to make sure that it wouldn't be too spicy since she was such a sweet, little thing. It was a shame Marluxia had imprisoned her and forced her to do things against her will. Namine hadn't deserved that.
He reached back toward the two to steal a cookie for himself but otherwise made no real effort to try and get involved in conversation just yet. Artists needed to be able to concentrate. Not to mention as Nobodies of Somebodies that were friends, it might be wise to let them reconnect. Just as Sora and Kairi had a strong bond, it wouldn't be a surprise if these two created one as well. It was quite fitting in fact.
