The gloom and doom, the screams of terror coming from the victims at the hands of Hades himself, this place was all to much like where she had been created. The realm of darkness, however, could be considered much more disturbing to this place - in comparison, the Underworld was a walk in the park. Sure, it was ruled by one of the most ruthless entities in existence, but at least this place had an end. Anyone with a heart could find themselves panicked in a place that was never-ending, feet constantly tracking on a winding road that would never cease to exist. There was no outlet, there was no way to escape unless one had a dark corridor. There had been a few instances that Asphyxia could recall that she had seen others make it out alive. Of course, she simply hadn't gotten to them in time.
The Heartless girl was now trekking the paths of the Underworld, her usual motive being set in stone. She was waiting for someone to come across her vision that was alone, that she could overtake in a matter of moments and corrupt their heart, claiming it for herself. There were times that when she didn't create another Heartless for her family, she would simply devour it, in a sense. Not only were they "tasty," but they also gave her more power as an individual, which was something else that her kind sought relentlessly. Asphyxia, however, could think when her brothers could not. She was able to put logic before her instincts, and though she was still driven by them in a general aspect, could go about things smartly.
Every now and then she would come across some shadows, and they would come to her, scuttling to her feet an awaiting her approval. She would lean down and pet the tops of their heads, and they would happily dip into the shadows, going to find somewhere else to inhabit, doing the same thing as her, waiting for an opportunity to strike someone and obtain a heart for their own, greedy purposes.
Using her wings, she flew short distances overhead to see if there was anyone here from the world above, or even a demonic entity that had something beating within its chest. The areas around here, however, were seemingly desolate and full of nothingness. Her white eyes would scan her surroundings, and not even her senses could pick up any signs light. Perhaps this area was useless to her after all? That didn't make much sense as to why her brothers were here, however - they could sense when a place was inhabited by something they could attack, and the fact that they were here was more than enough explanation than she needed. There was something, so she decided that she'd stick around, at least for a little while.
Asphyxia landed in a circular "clearing," with a pathway that lead up to a set of stairs, which proceeded to a door, probably to the world above. When she was done examining things down here, she would definitely be headed there next. The problem was, however, that wasn't exactly keen on devouring prey in front of others and creating a scene that would affect her and her family - it was pointless. In front of her was a small green pool; she touched it with the pointed front of her shoe, watching the rippled stretch to the edges of the liquid's home. It was definitely different than regular water, though she couldn't put her finger on what it consisted of.
For now, Asphyxia faded into the shadow, becoming no more than a pair of milky eyes, waiting - watching.
