@stitch @venom Whether you both persuaded or intimidated Merlin into giving you the okay to pursue that bill, you find yourselves in the gaudy plaza of a dry town minutes later. The few wandering eyes you catch don't like you... probably because you literally popped out of nowhere and look like you value your freedom.
You catch snippets as you pass. "Did you see that horse just now?" "I think a vine tripped me by the cathedral." "Something scary flew over the graveyard!"
Which way will you go?
a) The path leading to the cathedral b) The path leading to the graveyard

Snake was initially unsure about working with something so.. small. Until he had gathered that this little blue creature was on par with him in terms of deadliness. As they emerged into the square, the man would look around curiously. France. Well that's neat. He'd stop to crouch down to speak with Stitch before deciding, idly petting DD.
"Alright, how do you want to do this? Stealth or guns blazing?" He was a fan of either way, after all. He'd leave the choice of path to his newly made travelling companion. Snake is pretty sure that with ears that size, Stitch also picked up the little rumors and words being said.

Stitch had never been in a place so large, or at least had this many people inside. Stitch didn't know too much about his newly found partner, but stitch has a way of being able to trust just about anyone these days. Stitch was picking up the small bits of chatter from the crowd and trying his best to process it in his tiny brain.
Stitch noticed he partner bending down to speak to him, he never noticed that no one had actually had to do that before. Stitch listened to his partners question and immediately knew how he wanted this to be done, loud with lots of explosions!
"Eh, Bang Bang, Pew Pew" Stitch muttered hoping his partner would get the general idea of what he was trying to say.
Stitch wanted the most action out of this he could possibly get, having been alone for quite awhile. He pointed towards the path leading to the graveyard. "Eh?"
(Sorry for the late post.)

Waiting the graveyard for the two assigned on their mission was a deadly and disturbed entity; a remnant of all things negative and wanting to put those feelings on everyone an everything it came across. It had seen the two walking towards him from a distant, and already, its tongue was rubbing over its teeth inside of its jaws, a sickening smile appearing below its mask. Soulless eyes watched while he waited, and soon enough it was able to reveal itself. "Look at this pathetic display." As soon as the Dream Eaters noticed him, they had scattered. The Remnant summoned its inverted version of the void gear, assuming its battle position, facing the two defiantly and ready to pounce at any moment. If either of them so much as made a sudden movement, it would be lunging towards them like some sort of predatory animal.

Venom couldn't help but chuckle at Stitch's grasp (or lack thereof) of the English language. In an amusing way, he figured how much easier it would be if he was taught the creature's language instead. As he made his way to the Graveyard, the man seems caught off guard. The things came out of seemingly nowhere. Just how was he supposed to preemptively attack when they did such things?
Shaking off the attack from the bat, Snake looks up at... a whole different creature. Despite clearly being a humanoid, the sheer evil that the Remnant gave off made it fall into the 'creature' category. The way it waited, like some sort of feline, waiting to pounce. Well, it was a good thing Snake was ready for such things. A half smirk appears on his face before he speaks.
"DD, go." He says calmly. In the suddenest of movements, the wolf went into a full on sprint towards the Remnant, aiming to latch onto any unlucky limb. At the same time, Snake would quickly dive to his right, unslinging his rifle mid-jump before going into a roll and firing 2 quick shots at the enemy.

Stitch heard the small chuckle from his partner, but of course he thought nothing of it as he wasn't the first to find stitch's lack of understanding somewhat amusing.
while Stitch and his newly found partner walked along the path to the graveyard, Stitch Started to think. Stitch didn't like to think much, it seemed to hurt his head quite a bit. But he still began to wonder about what was to come ahead. Not that he was worried it was more or less the factor of what he was going to be blowing up. Stitch had fought many things over his time in deep space, so he wasn't scared of much as he always seemed to overcome it when he had friends with him. That's why he was quite glad he had someone with him even though he was a bit of a stranger to the small blue creature.
As the two reached the graveyard they were ambushed by what Merlin described to them as nightmares. Stitch had a large grin on his face as the first bat failed to hit him with it's first swing. Then, after noticing the hit on to venom he ran to try and help while getting striked down himself by what seemed to Stitch as a horse like creature that just happened to have wings/
As Stitch got up shaking off that somewhat painful hit from the creature, he got back up in fighting stance. But the nightmares were gone and the new figure had caught his eye. This 'creature' of some sorts seemed to have venom's attention as well. Venom sent in his wolf that he called 'DD'. Stitch's immediate reaction was to run in with the canine while firing with his two blasters both firing one shot each at the figure.

Vanitas Remnant anticipates and avoids both of Snake's Attacks, but gets caught off-guard by D-Dog. As a result, he ends up taking both of Stitch's attacks. Vanitas expresses amusement as he retaliates against Stitch.

Having grabbed onto the Remnant's leg, DD began to quickly try to pull the creature off balance. Even still, Snake took a breath, taking the time to aim this time. A tricky opponent like this likely required more focus than just blindly firing. This time, Snake would attempt to hit the thing in the chest. Center mass would (hopefully) mean less likely for his bullets to miss. Truthfully, his mind was a bit distracted. Sure, Stitch could likely handle the attack just fine, but that's hardly knowledge Snake has. Luckily, that handy little spell orb could be used it things became more dire. Focusing back on the battle, the man fires at the creature again.

Snake watches as the creature takes the shot straight to the chest and barely even flinches. DD seems to get a good mauling on the leg as well, yet the Remnant just kept coming. Stitch seemed to still be recovering from the hit he had taken, forcing Snake and DD to take the thing instead. Fine. Slinging his rifle back, the man prepared for what just might actually be stupid, despite how effective it always seemed to be. With open arms, he welcomed the Remnant's attack, feeling his armor give way from the Keyblade before feeling it biting against his skin. Oh, that would definitely need attention. But, this was just a smokescreen. Snake had played the Remnant like a fiddle and suddenly grabbed down on the thing's body before applying a quite generous amount of force to attempt to crush it. What's more, D-Dog got to participate in his most favorite activity of tug-o-war and would attempt to pull the Remnant apart as well.
